Omni San Antonio Hotel at The Colonnade

I am always happy to stay at Omni. The shuttle is really helpful. Breakfast is great. The staff at the front desk could be better. Days before arrival I made a long distance call to be sure that my room would be ready, it was around midday and the first answer was no, and upon my complanit I got the room.. They did not have a note of my request. The room was not cleaned every day only the bed was done. This is the first time I had this experience. I would appreciate if you could make a follow up because I really like this hotel.

the common areas are well maintained, but I think that the rooms are in need of an update. Carpet in my room was frayed at the seam. The rooms are dark and would be so much more pleasant with some lighter colors. For what I needed to do and where I needed to be, it was fine. I prefer the Westin at La Cantera. AND PLEASE STOP CHARGING GUESTS FOR INTERNET---DON'T WE PAY ENOUGH?

The hotel was really nice. Had a mini-bar in the room. But much would of just had a micro & Fridge. The staff were very nice. One of the few hotels where the hot tub & pool dont close at 10:00 pm, would stay again.

This is a nice hotel that is not too close to the riverwalk which is why it's not as expensive as the other hotels that are. It is closer to Fiesta Texas but still a few miles away. We didn't go for any of those attractions but only to get away for the weekend. When we arrived and checked in, the room smelled of clorox so we asked the front desk if we could move and they accomodated our request w/o any issues and the next room was much better. The pool and workout area are very nice and clean. All in all a good value.

Nothing bad to report, but nothing great, either. If the location works for you, this Omni is a serviceable hotel that will do the job just fine.

The whole experience was excellelent. Friendly staff, clean room, and enjoyed a nice cocktail in the bar.

We were staying at another hotel in downtown San Antonio and were not happy with the accomodations at all. We found The Omni on Orbiz for the same rate and were very pleased. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, which made the 15 minute drive back to the hotel where our convention was being held only a minor inconvience. We would recommend this hotel again and again!

Problems with the room telephone. Would be nice to have more restaurant choices

love that pets are allowed, was the deciding factor in choosing this hotel. the man at the front desk was friendly but the women took over the next day and surprise, weren't as personable. (guess the male employee set the bar high.) we had a corner room with a nice view for two nights, I could see my car so that was a plus. everytime we returned the room was picked up and everything restocked. way to go, housekeeping! we slept in one day and had no interruptions, no noisy guests, the bed was awesome and made us feel like home. wish the room had a microwave and/or refrigerator for leftovers, but other than that our experience was unparalleled by any other hotel. will be staying here again!
