BEST WESTERN Pentagon Hotel - Reagan Airport

All Was aok. The motel was centrally located for what we wanted.

I read a lot of negative reviews regarding this hotel. Most of them were a couple of years old and I hoped that the hotel had addressed the bug issues they had. As I was driving to the hotel, I was a little scared by my surroundings--about 20 men loitering around the pharmacy on the corner. But the immediate neighborhood around the hotel is OK. Parking at the hotel is free (most hotels in the area charge $20 per night for parking). Check-in was fast and painless. The room was fine. Carpet, bedding, tile, and fixtures all were in good condition--I'd say less than 3 years old. The wallpaper was in fair condition. The bathroom was cramped but it did have a venting fan that came on when you turn on the light. No fridge or microwave but there was a coffee maker, hair dryer and iron/ironing board. Walls were thin so, if you're a light sleeper, bring a sound machine to drown out the noise. My room faced a rather busy road that had the occasional truck, bus, or motorcycle idling loudly so, again, bring a sound machine for sleeping. In summary, I feel that this hotel was close to DC without the excessive rates and parking charges of the hotels that are slightly closer. I would stay here again. Oh, and I didn't see any insects during my entire stay.

The hotel 's shuttle is so convenient. Will take you directly to the metro which takes you anywhere you want to go (monuments, arlington cemetary, smithsonian musueums, etc.) The bfast is good enough to get you started for a big day ahead. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will stay here again.

i flew in around 1045 pm. My son picked me up from the reagan intl a/p and used gps to find hotel quickly. The front desk clerk was courteous and handled my prearranged reservation quickly and efficicently. Continental breakfast was good too. I would definitely recommend to others.

Hotel was being upgraded but there were a lot of problems. AC/Heating unit did not function properly. Carpet was coming off the walls. The carpet staples were hazardous. Walls were too thin. You could hear not only what was going on outside but also all your neighbors' activities. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast provided was reasonable. Staff provided shuttle service to the nearest Metro train station for quick access to Washington DC.

Clean rooms - very decent breakfast. This is the second time I've stayed in the hotel so that should indicate something. This stay was better than the last.

This is the perfect place for the price. We spent 7 days there and everything was great. The breakfast was good, the service excellent, and the shuttle to the Metro station was always on time and fast. Room was very clean and nice. But most of all everyone was wonderful and they went above and beyond to make us happy. Great place and affordable.

We found our trip to be a great value for the money we paid. The rooms were comfortable and provided us with a clean room with enough towels. The beds were a little skimpy on blankets. The Continental breakfast could have had more of a selection, but provided more than donuts and coffee. The location was close enough to DC that it was easy to visit but still far enough away that the price wasn't the inner city high rates. The shuttle to the nearest metro stop was also very convenient and reliable! The staff for the most part was friendly, except for one crabby desk lady. The rooms were always cleaned and restocked and our overall experience was very enjoyable! We would recommend this hotel to other bargain shoppers!

Outside garbage cans were full all the time, construction going on, outside halls needed to be swept, there was a q tip on the steps for 4 days.. Room A/C sounded like a fighter jet engine. Electric in bathroom area needed to be repaired. Safe needed to be fixed.
