Not impressed at all. Online advertisement for hotel was deceiving. The only good thing was the location. Had to purchase own sheets as the bedding was filthy. Housekeeping was horrible. Hotel has potential, however, management needs to make updates and educate staff on the importance of providing quality customer service and housekeeping on how to thoroughly clean the rooms.

Checked in and set schedule for cleaning/restock of linens and paper goods for Tuesday and thourough cleaning on Friday. Arrived in room to find a mattress that looked like someone was lying in the bed even though it was made up. Found the springs in the matress were COMPLETELY flattened on the right side of the bed. On the second day, went to turn on the TV and the power button fell into the cabinet of the TV. On Tuesday, when linens and paper goods were to be restocked, no one ever came to the room. EVERY day about 9:30 a jackhammer was run as they were removing and replacing the stairs. The elevator sounded like a car with no wheels being drub over pavement. Not the best stay I have ever had.

This Was a Working Trip. We Travel each week staying In Different Hotels .And States the Hotel was very good .The only problem was when we arrived they did not have rollBeds for 2 Employees
we had to purchase another Room for two Days Will not Stay again unless carpet is cleaned could not walk on floor in socks

Toilet water ran constantly. Informed front desk. Maintenance temporarily reduced water flow to tolerable. In middle of night toilet began noise similar to pushing a school desk across floor. (Was a pressurized toilet using air assist to flush). Very loud Db level. Almost got me to want to switch rooms @ 3:30AM. Maintenance called again & toilet reproduced noise for staff as soon as he entered room. They should not have rented out this room!

According to the Orbitz website, our hotel room was supposed to have a mini-fridge. We arrived at our hotel late at night after a long drive and were hoping to put our 4 year olds milk and yogurt in the mini-fridge since the small travel cooler we were using was starting to lose it's cool. When we arrived in the room, we found there was no fridge.
I travel frequently on business across the country and always stay at Marriotts or Courtyards. I am used to a certain level of cleanliness and service that comes with the Marriott name no matter which city I stay in. This was sub-par at best. The breakfast buffett was not stocked, the glasses were filthy, and I had to track down a waitress to get my husband coffee. The 24 hour Market was not well-stocked, and the staff was unprofessional and not courteous.
The hotel cleanliness was questionable. The coffee pot in our room was full when we arrived and had not been cleaned out.

Hotel had a terrible stinch in the air. Not only was it in the air, but my entire "word-robe" carried the odor even back home in my suitcases. They need to keep fresh muffins in the mouring for breakfast, the bannana-nut had a little green mold on the side. However clerk was nice and tried to make conversation
while confirming the paid order. Also orange juice was not properly mixed.

The place was worn out and not very clean. That location was seedy and in a congested area. The remote for the TV was missing. They gave me another that did not work. They they came up and tried to program it. I ended up doing it myself. The bathtub looks like it has never been cleaned. The people were friendly enough but they kept expecting me to leave earlier than I was scheduled for.

The location was excellent. It was near stores, gas stations,the post office, and all different kinds of foods places to choose from.
The hotel it self looked dreary. Boards were missing from the stairs, curtains were dirty,bed had stains on it, rug needed a good cleaning.
I guess it was true you get what you pay for. This was really only a place to lay your head down. Nothing spectacular about this place.

Pleasant experience. started off being allowed to check in about 3 hours early - much appreciated as had afternoon function, so able to get ready at room. room average - good value for the money. staff was very helpful - getting extra towels & making fresh coffee in lobby - especially in the evening :) would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was fine, and very busy on a Friday night, given its reasonable price. We opted for the King room. The modern furnishings and quiet refrigerator made for a pleasant atmosphere. Because all the rooms face the parking lot, there was some noise from outside. The staff was friendly and we felt safe (contrary to some other reviews.)

Since this was a business trip it was nice and clean however the parking was not great and the rooms where small and I am use to quite restful placees and it was not for me my room was in the back next to the highway and when asked for another room was told i needed to wait until staff arrive the next day was not what i am use to I like to have staff attendence 24 hour daily and to feel safe when i am coming into my room neither one was available. Staff assistance upon arrival was great and rooms very clean but their was no supplies for the kitchen area.

Nice hotel, my wife loved the room decor. A small fridge would be nice though. Everyone was very nice. The only problem was that no one monitered the pool area so the pool exceded the max capacity a couple of times while we were there.

I requested a no smoking room, and there was a little sign that said no smoking, but the room smelled like it was a smokers room and they just put a sign in it. I have allergies and woke up Sunday morning with some sinus issues related to the smoky room. Some of the silverware was dirty. I went to a concert at the beach Saturday night and returned about mid-night. There was no place to park. I wasn't sure if I could park in the lot of the hotel net door or not. Someone came out and left and I got that spot.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and it's still a great place to be. Convenient location, quiet, clean and spacious room, good breakfast, very comfortable bed. And I mean comfortable-I got in bed and slept all night. We will be staying here again!

The Staybridge Suite hotel was the best place for our family. The personelle was so warming. It felt like we were at home. It was extremly clean. We had the all american breakfast included,also we had 3 suppers included in which we were not aware of.
We were about 20 min away from ocean front beach. There's nothing else i can say but WOW.
We visited the Virginia aquarium, busch gardens and the country par USA water slides.

There was one partial set of towels in the room upon checkin. It took well almost two hours, 3 calls and a personal visit to the front desk to get enough towels. The next night we returned to find, not enough towels and it took 3 calls and one hour. The bogus excuses we received were "housekeeping in taking inventory" and "we're busy with a lot of requests".

Great staff. Great room. Expensive to rent movie. Was surprised that you could not get cable tv??? Any reason why? Hotels should be a home away from home.....so please add the simple things along with the fabulous things. Enjoyed the hotel, Will stay again and recommend to friends. Thanks guys!!!

I would absolutely stay at the Aloft again. Place was simple, clean and nice. I didn't use the pool because I was too tired, but I will next time. The bar was hip and everyone was very nice.

It was nice granted we got there early n couldn't check in but the hotel was awesome n location even better. The only thing they need is better air conditioner in the room and a Jacuzzi cause the pool is small. Overall I enjoyed the experience.

At first I was apalled by the appearance of the room, but after a while I realized it was just cosmetic. It is in DIRE need of renovating. For the price and the last minute reservation, it suited its purpose. Its in a dingy neeighborhood, but just a short 5 minute drive to Greenbrier Parkway, you will find plenty of restaurants and a mall. Not that bad considering the price.

[...]. The air condition did not work at all and caused us to wake up several times throughout the night. This didn't leave us with much sleep as we had to be up by 630am and went to sleep by 2am because of the need to switch rooms and get the check in info straight. The toilet was broken and almost overflowed every time used. I will never ever stay in an ECONO LODGE ever again, and I plan on telling everyone I can about my experience [...]. Management will hear from me!

We got to the hotel rooms and it showed clear signs of age. The rooms weren't very clean. The TV burned out the first night we were there and never got fixed. The service was good but subpar. The WiFi was basically a local router that could not get throught the walls and only worked in the lobby, which was closed from 11-7

The first room i was issued was unbearable. it was not clean and was infested with flies.My replacement room was very simliar with bath towels that looked like car washing rags. I had to leave this hotel and am expecting a Full refund for these awful hotel conditions.

I spent one night here while in the area for an interview. The hotel and my room were clean and everything looked fairly new. My room was very comfortable. Check in was a little slow, but the staff was friendly. My only complaint would be that the hotel sits close to a road, and there was traffic noise especially when tractor trailers would drive by. However, it wasn't so loud that it woke me up or keep me awake at night. All in all I was very pleased with my stay.

Stopped for one night on my way elsewhere.....OK, but not for longer. Lobby and halls smelled of smoke,ice machine only on first floor, coffee maker in room did not work. Front desk clerk nice. List of safety tips in room provided by hotel was a little unsettling....????

Hotel is overpriced for its' location- in the middle of nowhere- Shopping and dining options are a few miles up the road on Portsmouth Blvd- The first room we were given had an inoperable toliet- why bother renting a room when it is known that the toliet doesn't work?? We were then given the key to another room at the back of the hotel which is right on the interstate- too noisy for sleep- Then we were given the room we actually used. Breakfast is OK- except there were a large amount of kids at the breakfast and it was impossible to access the food on one day of our stay- we went out to eat.
