The overall experience was average. Room was clean and the staff was friendly. Conviently located next to several restaurants and establishments. The biggest issue I experienced was with the parking area. It was extremely small and the entrances were inconveniently located on a busy intersection.

Our room was on the 2nd floor, and the floor of the room above us creaked excessively. Very annoying. The breakfast is just so-so. I enjoy flavored creamers with my coffee, and they only had half and half. My husband loves waffles and his was great! Don't stay on the 2nd floor, and you should be fine!

This hotel was very easy to find - right off of I-39/51. I was greeted by a very friendly staffperson upon my arrival and made to feel at home during my entire stay. I would have been disappointed that the hotel pool and jacuzzi were out of service, but I hadn't brought a bathing suit anyhow. They looked inviting - when they will be in service. Breakfast bar was nice, and I enjoyed the fresh waffles and fruit each day. Even got help a couple of times (without asking) to get the waffles off the griddle. There was plenty to eat and drink and a good selection. The hotel was also very close to the university and there were a good number of restaurants nearby as well. The room was very quiet - never heard anyone else in the hotel while I was in my room. I'd stay here again, the room was nice, and the price was very good!

The hotel staff was very accommodating and the continental breakfast was delicious!!! I loved the add-ons to the oatmeal!! Thank you!!

My 19 year old daughter and I stayed at this hotel so we could visit the school in Stevens Point. I don't usually like to stay in hotels preferring my own bed. This bed was very comfortable and there were a few nice touches. There was a magnified mirror in the bathroom so I could put my make up on without having to lean over the sink. There was also a TV in the bathroom. We didn't use it, but I'll bet lots of people watch the morning news while getting ready. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, donuts, great coffee... lots to choose from. [...] My check in and check out were a breeze. I plan on staying here again [...].

They didn't have our hotel reservation when we arrived. We had to search through our cell phones for the confirmation email from orbitz. Once we gave the hotel our confirmation #, things went smoothly. There were a lot of people at the hotel on this particular weekend. The halls were full of children who were semi noisy. They did quiet down after a while.

The room was better than expected from the other reviews I read before booking but I just needed a place to shower and sleep after moving grandma. The move took 4 days not 2 as expected but I only stayed 2 at this hotel. I wish I would have stayed the 3rd night instead I slept on the floor at grandmas new place on a mattress and couldn't sleep. the hotel was better but not the best quality beds but you get what you pay for. The staff was good and service was also good nothing stood out but that is exactly why I picked this place, cheaper price quite and safe in room was a bonus.

We stayed at this hotel while we were in town for the state Destination Imagination tournament, so the place was overflowing with kids, including ours. Our room was very quiet despite all the youngsters. The only time we heard noise from another room was when the door across the hall was opened to let someone in.The room was a double queen. It was not large but not cramped like some hotels. Beds were very comfortable, which was wonderful. We asked for a rollaway so the teenager wouldn't have to sleep with her sister, and we were provided one at no extra charge. We had hoped for foam pillows, but we ended up with feather. The room was nicely decorated, up-to-date, and very clean. The bowed shower rod was a nice touch, too.Breakfast offered a nice variety with some items not typically seen at hotels. There were fruit cups in fruit juice instead of nasty fruit cocktail, for example; a crock of oatmeal with toppings like raisins, brown sugar, and flax seeds; skim and 2% milk, three kinds of juice, tea, coffee, hot chocolate; waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins and English muffins; fresh fruit; hard boiled eggs, which were very welcome; and breakfast sandwiches like ham, cheese and egg on an English muffin. No doughnuts! The kids had to eat decent food! The person in charge of keeping the kitchen stocked and dining area clean did an excellent job, too. She was very nice and certainly busy. It was great to see her attack the tables with a bucket of soapy water after diners left.They also have a well-stocked pantry to buy something from just about any food group. The selection was awesome. They even had frozen dinners from Stouffer's and Amy's. Prices weren't too outrageous, either. We ended up with Drumsticks (ice cream cones) before bed. The pool was fairly small, but we didn't have time to use it anyway. The exercise room was very basic, but I never use those, either.Their website allows for some special requests, which is very convenient. They make no guarantees on special requests, of course, but we got the rollaway and top floor we asked for. Stevens Point isn't anywhere I really plan to visit again, but if I were looking for a hotel elsewhere, I'd definitely look for a Fairfield Inn.

Quiet, clean, and friendly atmosphere.

Our room had a funny odor when entering, but didn't notice once we were in it. Beds were comfortable. A fridge would have been nice. Ice machine was'nt working in the evening, but got some the next morning. Staff was very friendly.

Stayed one night after moving daughter into college first time staying here - will be back

Very friendly and the location was great, room was more then expected. Made traveling with a handicap indivdual very easy.

The pool/waterslide was great. Although, a few degrees warmer would be nice. The whirlpool was awesome. The room layout with the bunk beds for the kids was great. The beds were a little too firm for my liking, and the heating system was so noisy it would wake you when it kicked on.

Thr hotel was clean and the convention center was great for the wedding. The staff was friendly and my stay was great!
