Great stay, but too hot in summer w/o A/C

Everything was as expected. To our surprise it was a very hot weekend in Amsterdam and the room we stayed in unfortunately did not have A/C.

Das Backstage ist das perfekte Hotel für Besucher die Amsterdam erobern wollen. Es ist alles in der Nähe was man braucht. Die Lage ist ein Traum, direkt am Kanal und nur 3 min von einer sehr belebten Straße. Das Personal ist super freundlich und man fühlt sich direkt Willkommen. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Sehr freundliches,hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer war etwas staubig und auf der Bettdecke befanden sich mehrere Haare. Aber alles in allem super Atmosphäre im Hotel.

Der Hotelbesitzer war sehr nett und lustig, wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen, er hat uns sehr gute tips gegeben, wo wir essen sollen oder welche Sehenswürdigkeiten anschauen sollen.Das Hotel war sehr zentral. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass es keinen Aufzug hat Eine unser Familienmitglied hat leider Knie Probleme gehabt und war für sie einwenig problematisch ohne Aufzug Steile Treppen bis 3.Sock hoch und runter zulaufen. Aber insgesamt Top war die Lage, sehr zentral. Für meine nächste Aufenthalt würde ich wieder in Bacjstage Hotel übernachten.

It's very central so a lot of clubs and bars are only a few steps away. But if you want to have a good sleep without much noise coming from outside you will be disappointed to stay here. The staff is very friendly though and i know its not their fault.

Happy to hear your stay wasn't overal bad and at least we were a friendly bunch, but we do regret the 2 out of 5. Maybe we could have tried harder to make your stay even nicer.
