Beautiful hotel in great Need of renovation & customer Service. Public Rooms lovely; well preserved making a lovely experience downstairs. Room I was given,and those of many of my fellow conference attendees at conference there, did not look like Picture here. Mine had not been renovated for decades. Radiators did not work. I had no hot water to shower with or in my sink. Made the staff Aware of this that first night when tried to shower. Told Concierge& reception staff next morning. No offer of room Exchange..said they would tell maintenance. Coming back very late that second night of stay from conference and stepped into shower - still no hot water. Then left a note on door for maintenance staff on the Hotel sheet put on the doorknob. Called Concierge & Reception staff also.No help. Said they would pass on to maintenance.Then next busy conference day, try take a shower at 2330, still no hot water in the bathroom sink or shower. Called Concierge. Said would send Manager up. that took until 015ish. after midnight. Manager/ another staff. I knew to run water to see if hot water comes. Tried 3 nights myself. Insisted on not believing me as Cold water poured out of both faucets.then, offered me a new room. I just needed to Sleep. At checkout next morning next day informed Concierge, receptionist, and asked to talk to Manager. He was came out. Asked for my Money back for stay & Manager said would take care of, taking email & phone no.. Never contacted me and do not follow up:
