no dish towels. There was no soap for the clothes washer and the fridge still had left over items from the previous guest. We contacted the owner of the suite and asked for clean towels for the next day - they never arrived.
No hotel staff came to clean the room on the 2nd day. I recognize that many tenants probably rent suites in this massive dull building and they get listed on hotels.com. Some units are fine, this unit was not. The owner sent a text asking us when we were leaving and I told him 12 noon as per the Hotels.com details and most every other hotel on planet earth. On the morning of our departure the owner arrived at the front door and asked the same question - the one I had already answered. 15 minutes later the housekeeper, (the same one who didn't deliver new towels, clean the room, the shower drain, or provide a simple roll of TP), knocked on the front door wanting to know when we would be leaving - to which I communicated the same message 12 noon. We packed our things headed out the door and she was still standing there - no pressure. For this Hotels.com booking we paid market rates for what felt like couch surfing - not impressed, this is where Hotels.com needs to do a better job of vetting who lists accommodations on their website.
