Unclean

This was the cheapest option to stay downtown but I was still surprised by the lack of cleanliness. The floor of the lobby is gorgeous, but my room was definitely not. There was poop in the toilet when I walked in that had obviously been there for awhile, the carpet outside the bathroom was soaked, and the floor of the bathroom was covered in a sticky material. This location downtown is great, and the price would have been great as well if my room didn’t have those issues. The hotel has great potential, it just needs a new cleaning staff.

Breakfast buffet was too expensive if not included. Hotel bar had nothing on the TVs. Paid extra for cityview which was only a small window that was extremely dirty. Overall the staff are friendly and the rooms were decent and clean. Close to many restaurants and walking distance to Dealey Plaza, Aquarium,and museums.

Terrible

Hotel was not as expected. We had to change rooms because of a water leak and then the second room had a glob of hair in the shower, will not be staying again!

We arrived early and were able to check in. Staff very personable and upgraded us to balcony room at no charge. Our ac vent hissed but it was like a white noise so it wasn’t really disturbing. We chose Crown Plaza because the rates were good and in walking distance to American Airlines Center
