Veröffentlicht am 28.08.2019 auf HomeAwaySehr schönes, großes, idyllisch gelegenes Haus mitten auf dem Land. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns zusätzlich noch Ausflugstipps für Die Umgebung gegeben und loreto hat uns einen äußerst leckeren Irish coffee serviert. Es war der perfekt Ort, um von zentraler Stelle aus das county clare zu bereisen. Nur ein eigenes oder gemietetes Auto wird empfohlen, das man ansonsten schwer irgendwo hin kommt. Jedes Mal gerne wieder.

A wonderful base to explore the West of Ireland
Veröffentlicht am 13.08.2019 auf HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay at Loreto's home. We arrived to some lovely home made treats and supplies which were very much appreciated. Ardsollus is a lovely traditional Irish home within a working dairy farm set in lovely grounds. The home is large and we particularly enjoyed the kitchen area which is nicely kitted out and the spacious en-suite bedrooms which had everything we needed. Our daughters enjoyed the kittens and the cows! Thanks go to Loreto who was attentive and friendly and even bought a cake and card for my wife's birthday during our stay which was really thoughtful. Ennis is a short drive away and we especially enjoyed Brogan's there for superb food and live music. Galway and the coast are easy to get to in the car. The wifi was a bit patchy and could do with a boost but good on the whole. Thanks for a lovely getaway!

Family vacation
Veröffentlicht am 01.08.2019 auf HomeAwayThe Ardsollus Farm house was the most excellent place for 10 family members. Most of us have never been to this part of Ireland and you have been most gracious throughout our stay.
The house, the dairy farm and the proximity to Galway, the Dingle Peninsula and the Cliffs of Moher was just the best.
Thanks you for showing us your milking system for your beautiful cows. We so enjoyed that.
Such a lovely place to stay!

Lovely house in the country side
Veröffentlicht am 24.07.2019 auf HomeAwayGreate house for us, two families and a total of nine people. We spent a week exploring County Clare and Ardsollus Farm was a great starting point.
Loretto is a great host and made us feel very welcome. She had made scones for us as well as supplied us with bread, butter and some other amenities when we arrived.
She made sure we were ok during the week . We mainly used the front part of the garden which was lovely.
A couple of things to be aware of;
The Wifi- you had to find the spot in the house were the signal was strong but this was not a big issue for us.
It is advised to have a car, as it truely is in the countryside.
The village Quin is 2.5 kilometers away. You can walk to the village but the road is narrow and the speed is high, the adults in our party did walk once, but I would not recommend going there with children.
I highly recommend this house if you want to stay in the country side.

Fab place to stay!

Wonderful surroundings, peaceful location and very welcoming owners!
Thankyou 'Loreto and Pat' for making us feel very comfortable in your super pad! Thank you Loreto for sorting out the surprise cakes for my 'brother and sister'! Thank you Pat for showing us around the farm.
My family loved it all, we will definitely come back!

Lovely stay in Co Clare

So convenient to hop on the motorway to get to our day trips all over Ireland. I highly recommend this property for any size party to stay in Co Clare. My kids so enjoyed seeing the calves each day.

Magical!

Comfortable rooms, lovely baths, the constant movement of the cows , Benny the horse- it was heaven on earth.
