It's a run down and outdated hotel

The lobby is big but not being well maintained so its just a big room. The door to your room makes so much noise to open and close it wakes up the whole hotel. The ac drips the whole bight like the tap is open. The guy on the night shift was very n8ce and friendly

Die Lage ist kaum zu übertreffen. Sehr nettes Personal. Parken war ohne Probleme möglich und die 10$ pro Tag waren vergleichbar noch günstig. Ich komme gern wieder.

Don’t stay here.
Veröffentlicht am 25.01.2024 auf HotelsBeware. This is nothing more than a low grade motel. The bldg is in need of repair and rooms are too. Also note that parking is a block down and a block over and at night it is very uncomfortable to walk as it’s dark and not a nice area. We were unable to stay due to the conditions. Pictures on hotel.com not representative at all.

This is an older property but it’s located directly on the boardwalk. I have stayed at this property multiple times now and have had a great experience each time. The most recent stay was in a room with a balcony, which was absolutely incredible! We will be back soon!

Quiet yet close to everything
Veröffentlicht am 17.01.2024 auf HotelsHotel Sheldon was perxectly nestled in the middle of the broadwalk. I could walk a half hour down the beach and broadwalk in either direction. There are a lot of people yet it remains fairly quiet and safe, with walkers all hours of the day. I never needed my car and walked along the walkway for my coffee and meals.
The bed was a little firm for me and I wished there were chairs out front of the hotel for coffee and people watching but the beach wall sufficed.
The hotel provided beach chairs to carry to the beach, which is only 20 yards or so from the front. Beach towels were provided as well. Great spot for the sunrise!

The Sheldon is a nice hotel that gives you ease to move about the boardwalk. You are close to Margaritaville and the theatre so weekends are full of live music on the street's. The Sheldon is in the middle of doing a lot of updating to the hotel rooms, there is construction going on in the building. I will be excited to see the hotel completed. Our room had a king bed with an ocean view, windows do not open in the room. You can hear the people late night on the weekends on the boardwalk “ having fun” so be aware of this. During the week it was very quiet. We had a small coffee pot, microwave and mini frig. Each room came with 2 beach chairs and umbrella. The room also offers a safe to keeps things in one place and 24/7 free coffee in the lobby. We enjoy the Sheldon and their staff, it’s like coming home to family.
