Hotel reservation not honored by the hotel
Veröffentlicht am 25.01.2024 auf HotelsReserved and paid for two room, they one had one room available and told me that we could wait just in case a room came up this was at 7 Pm. They blamed it on Expedia. I canceled the reservation and they promised A refund. I believe they over booked therefore I am giving them a one star. Booked through hotels.com for about 10 years and never had this issue.

The property is tucked away between a few streets and close to a bridge so GPS was definitely required to find the entrance a few times but is located in a quiet area. I needed to find a spot that had a charger for my car that is not a Tesla. I had no problem finding parking but only by luck on the first night could I secure a spot at a charger. The security which walked around should ask vehicles that were not charging to not park there given it’s limited and there were other spaces available.
The room was clean and quiet and the bed was soft. In terms of services it would be good if the TV offered visitors to rent movies even if at a fee. Only local cable provided. Also when I called on the day of my checkin to let them know I was arriving late at 10pm I called no less than 7 times to speak to someone from 5pm to 10pm I never got a hold of anyone and or it kept picking up and hanging up. When on hold it should allow you to be directed maybe to a national number or leave a message.
I would stay at this location if I need to stay in the Ft. Lauderdale area again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, even let us have late check out to catch our cruise in the early afternoon.
Only complaint was the pillows which were thin and hard.
Great seafood restaurant Redezvous at the marina down the road from the hotel. Had dinner and breakfast there.
