To say I got my steps in is an understatement!

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU’RE GOING TO KANSAS CITY CONVENTION CENTER! It is a joke that they even say they are connected. You go outside the hotel, down an elevator, walk through a parking garage, and if you are lucky you can get into the convention center. They keep the doors locked between the parking garage and convention center most of the time. Save yourself a huge headache and stay at Loews, that lobby is connected to the convention center. Also, watch your debit card! I booked and prepaid through Hotels.com but woke up to a charge on my card for the stay. It wasn’t the hold for incidentals either because that was a whole extra charge. I didn’t prepay just to be charged again. The hotel is beautiful and clean but they honestly should not say that they are connected to the convention center. We had to walk to Loews multiple times in the freezing cold to get in (after walking all the way through a parking lot and back) It was very frustrating.

Ashley, we are happy that you enjoyed the Hotel’s beauty and cleanliness, but certainly sorry to hear that you were disappointed with some other aspects of your stay. Our Hotel is located closest to the Bartle Exhibit Hall and Municipal Auditorium portions of the Kansas City Convention Center, but you are correct that there are other hotels nearer other spaces within that facility. The most direct route is directly across the street from our front door, but we are sorry that you found the all-weather, subterranean connection inconvenient. We value feedback like yours, and will be sure to share it with our partners at the City of Kansas City as future projects and enhancements are considered. Thank you once again for your stay!

Me and my Wife stayed overnight for NYE. The area was electric. Amazing 14th floor view, sparkling rooms and good soundproofing. Although the bar was busy we still had a great time. Would definitely come again.

The stay was great. One of my friends and I came here for New Years weekend, attending the Kansas City chiefs game. The Marriot was in a great location with access to everywhere and all the best downtown attractions in the city. My only negative was the timing of the housekeeping services. We never had our room cleaned and the bed remade, even though we had our sign off our door during the day. They would always come by around 9 am when we were still in our room.
