The hotel is not located in Key West at all.
It is nestled in the middle of an Industrial zone in Stock Island with nearly no lifestyle infrastructure around.
There is a bus shuttle transfer to Key West, which is 6 miles away, but the latest transfer is at 8 pm, so it is not possible to have dinner without driving by car.
Additionally to the room they charge an expensive resort fee of 40 dollars per night, which includes wifi, the bus shuttle to Key West and the 'complimentary' welcome drink.
Most of the rooms are in the direction towards a noisy street or loud air condition generators.
Meals and drinks are overprized due to the fact, that there exist nearly no other restaurants and bars nearby.
Would highly recommend to stay in the real center of Key West und would ask the management to change the name of the hotel.
It should be named The Perry Stock Island in order to clearly avoid misunderstandings.

Dear M,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts regarding your recent experience with us here at The Perry Hotel. We apologize if you did not like our off the beaten path location. Most of our guests prefer our location as it allows them to enjoy all that Downtown Key West has to offer and then return to our peaceful marina side oasis for a respite from the downtown chaos. I apologize if you did not find that to be the case with your stay. Stock Island itself also has many activities, art galleries, dining options, as well several aquatic excursions right in our back yard that we encourage you to experience during your next visit.
