Für einen kurztrip mit wenig ansprüchen ok. Leider war die dusche etwas defekt...(schiebetüren). Die lage ist super! Mit der ubahn ist man schnell bei allen sehenswürdigkeiten etc...! :)

the whole hotel has a very bad smells when you walk in, i thought it was just me smelling but it latest the whole stay. also i had broken electrical sockets in the room show bare cables and thick black mold on the bathroom ceilings.
luckily it was only a short stay,but they have some serious work to do to bring it up to standard.

Si vous n'êtes pas regardant avec la netteté des lieux et que vous recherchez du bon marché, plutôt bien situé, c'est à la rigueur correct.

nuit à l'etroit
chambre étroite dans laquelle il etait difficile de circuler autour des lits!
Le receptionniste a essayé de negocier financierement notre arrivée dans la chambre car nous avions 2 heures d'avance sur l'heure d'entrée, 20£ pour y acceder puis 10£. j'ai trouvé ça plutot moyen comme accueil!

Hotel renovated during stay, should have closed for work to be done. Will be good once complete
The Park Hotel has a good central location close to Victoria station. I had paid online with a hotel booking website, yet the staff asked me when checking in and returning later to collect my keys if I had paid, which seemed very strange that they would not know. They did give me a double bed room when I had booked a single bed room, so that was nice of them.
I was very surprised that the hotel was undergoing renovations while still operating, I would have appreciated if I could have been informed when booking, so that I could have been better informed when making a choice of hotel.
The stairway walls were being stripped and busy being re-plastered and painted, which left a big dusty mess, which made my clothes, shoes and luggage dirty, even though I was careful not to make contact with any surfaces when going up and down from my 4th floor room.
The room did look 90% good though, which was a plus. Most of it looked new, including new carpet, newly painted walls and doors, new toilet, basin and shower, new tiles, the bed was quite good and the tv had a good picture.
The bad things about the room, which spoiled it for me, was the window looked terrible, with a blown double glazed sealed unit at the bottom and large cracks in the glass at the top opening vent. There was no curtain to keep out light at night or shield myself from the outside. The bathroom also had no mirror, nor was there one anywhere in the room, which is unacceptable. There was no towel rack in the bathroom, nor a place in the shower for toiletries. The plumbing needs major work, start and stop all the time and stopped completely while I was showering. Kettle and coffee/tea making facilities are there, but only one tiny glass to use.
Once renovations are complete, the Park Hotel will perhaps be worthy of 4 stars, but on my visit I give it 1 star.

Huone oli TODELLA likainen, televisio ei toiminut, ikkunalaudat ym olivat paksun pölyn peitossa. Peitoissa ei ollut edes pussilakanoita. Kloori haisi huoneessa voimakkaasti. Aamupala oli todella kallis verrattuna siihen mitä oli tarjolla. Ainoa plussa oli kymmenen minuutin kävelymatka asemalle. Tiesin ettei kyseessä ole huippuhotelli mutta en olettanut että paikka olisi noin kamalassa kunnossa.
