This Venetian Isles Bed and Breakfast is located in a quaint fishing, shrimping, and crabbing village and is the only location in all of New Orleans where you are truly right on the water. If you are looking to enjoy a relaxing, waterfront Bed and Breakfast where you can really experience Louisiana's “Sportsman's Paradise” state motto, then this is your heaven. You will be sleeping on a memory foam queen bed in a room dripping with southern charm that is overlooking the water. For many of these activities, you will be picked up from the dock that is just outside your door. Your room has:
-Access to a private bathroom with a door that leads directly to our second story balcony
-Private bathroom has a shower (sorry, no bathtub), toiletries, and a hair dryer
-A flat screen television with free access to Hulu and Amazon Prime for movies and TV shows
-A bolted safe to store anything securely if you are leaving for the day
-A menu of all services and prices along with a large list of optional lunch / dinner options (several authentic Louisiana favorites) that can be prepared for you at an incredibly low cost
-Your deliciously crafted breakfast is FREE and you will be able to choose the night before from several options (we also accommodate dietary restrictions)
-A button to alert the owners on site if anything at all is needed

Meals can be enjoyed either on our gorgeous second story balcony overlooking the water or in a truly unique and beautiful dining room. We do have a dog and a cat and although they are both adorable and very sweet, if you're not an animal person, they can be kept in a different area of the home out of sight. Other amenities include:
-A relaxing downstairs porch swing
-Beautiful dock for afternoon fishing that's also well lit for nighttime fishing (fish are very abundant and if you don't have a fishing pole, we got ya covered!)

We are located a short 24 miles from downtown (30 minutes) within a neighborhood that's not only safe, but also equally as beautiful and encourages walks to see all the unique waterfront homes lining the canals. Established as a fishing community, you'll get to see the awe-inspiring boats coming and going which supply our city and state with its truly fresh and delicious seafood. So, if you are looking to escape the city chaos for a truly relaxing, quiet, and catered weekend or wanting to stay where you can have dockside pickups for your fishing charter (only to come back to a incredible dinner waiting for you to enjoy and slowly watch the sun drop over the water while on the porch swing), then you found your HEAVEN.
