This mini chain is not quite ready for prime time. NYC was expecting a lot of rain/snow and the unit did not come with an umbrella (standard, I would think for winter) and I had to call them and request an umbrella (denied, was politely directed to a nearby drugstore instead). Also: be aware, there's no daily maid service (which is totally fine)!
One of the blinds was not working (fixed, thanks), the bathtub did not drain (also fixed), but the shower was pretty sub-standard, for a "apartment-hotel" of this fashionable sort. Also they gave me just two tiny pieces of soap for four nights (also fixed, but I had to call and complain before these things were done). The heating unit is very effective but it is also VERY loud. Thankfully the studio is QUIET, nice thick walls, and the bed is very comfy. Service is responsive and fast. And the units are made to look nice online--but basic amenities like the shower/tub are really kind of Motel 8-ish. Teething problems for a young mini chain. I hope they get better because I like what they're trying to do!
