Traumhafte Tage in Niasca 😄

Sehr schönes Haus mit italienischer Baustelle
Veröffentlicht am 26.04.2019 auf HomeAwayWir waren über Ostern in diesem Haus. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hatte uns sehr gute Tipps gegeben.
Leider war zur Zeit als wir da waren alles voller Baustellen und es war sehr müsam sich fortzubewegen. Sei es mit dem Auto oder zu Fuss. Da der Fussgängerweg ebenfalls geschlossen ist, mussten wir mit dem Hund auf der engen Strasse laufen.
Der Strand unten beim Haus wird sehr stark genutz, die Kajakvermietung selber braucht schon sehr viel Platz und es kommen sehr viel Badegäste, da es nur wenige Strände in der Umgebung gibt.
Wir würden wieder kommem jedoch ohne Hund und nur dann, wenn die Baustellen fertig sind.

In Herbst gab es ein absolut außergewöhnlicher wütender Sturm; die Zufahrtsstraße zu Portofino wurde zerstört. Es ist ein Wunder dass, trotz den bürokratischen Aufwand, die Übergang in so weniger Zeit wieder geöffnet wurde. In der Osterzeit gab es tatsächlich noch einige Endbearbeitungen zu tun. Ich möchte aber daran erinnern, wenn jemand in Portofino kommt, befindet sich wo jeder sein möchte; deswegen könnt ihr euer Urlaub auf der Stelle genießen ohne zu viele Reisen zu unternehmen

We spent our holidays there for nearly two Weeks.
This was a Time we will Never ever forget.
We saw Many Places in the world But no Place was this wonderful.

Location, Location, Location AMAZING

You will stay on the top part of a former boathouse, it is old, but very charming, with a huge sitting room /dining room /kitchen, and the cherry on top are the enormous french doors leading to the balcony with that incredible view to the small cove Niasca!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and ate all our meals on the balcony! It is very easy to walk to Portofino (15 min.), or S.Margherita Ligure (a little longer ). Even if the boathouse is underneath the road, you can hardly hear any noise.
The lower part of the house is where the watersport rental place is. While we were there, they had something like a children's summer camp going, so that it was quite noisy during the day, but before 9 am and after 6 pm it was quiet.

Amazing location, views and more

The bus is a bit expensive (5 Euros per person/trip) but if you don’t have a car, well worth it. We had two cars and had to search for parking for the second, but I think we just missed that info. The house is gorgeous and totally unique and we had everything we needed. Lots of hikers to Portofino (and it was the off season!) passing by, but I would take the trails instead of the road if you are sure of foot. Thanks for the travel books and advice!

Perfect weekend
Veröffentlicht am 12.04.2024 auf HomeAwayWe had a perfect stay at this property! Three couples (two with two-year-olds) came together for a reunion weekend, and it could not have been more perfect. Giancarla picked a couple of us up from the train station and took us to the grocery store so we could get stuff for breakfast the next morning which was really helpful, especially as it was pouring rain. Tons of space in the property as well - worked quite well for us.
The location is just wonderful. Perfect views and morning sun in the living space. The beach below is so convenient. It wasn't warm enough to swim, but the toddlers loved to dig in the sand and throw rocks into the water. An easy walk into Portofino via the walking path right above the property. We took our strollers on it and had no problems. It was really nice that we didn't have to walk on the road to get there.
We also walked to Santa Margherita one day which was a really pretty walk along the coast as well.
Would 100% come back in a heartbeat!

Brilliantly authentic

Fantastic location if you like something near to town yet feels a world away. 15 minute walk to Portofino. 40 minute walk to Santa Margherita. Waterfall in the back. Amazing hikes just behind. So quiet though ride in the road. Beds were very comfortable. Great host! We hope to be back.
