Veröffentlicht am 11.12.2022 auf HotelsCheck-in: warum hinter der Rezeption ein TV in sturmstärke laufen muss wegen dem Fußball und man sein eigenes Wort nicht versteht wissen nur Fußball begeisterte.
Sonst schnell und unkompliziert die Dame konnte gut Englisch. Ansonsten kommt man im Hotel ohne spanische oder portugiesische Sprachkenntnisse keinen Zentimeter weit.
Zimmer und Bewertung des Hotel: die Zimmer das Hotel und vor allem das Bad bedürfen der Renovierung. Eine 8.5 wohl nach brasilianischem Standard- EU kaum. Für 2 Nächte war's ok.
Frühstück gut, Aussicht sehr schön.
Check-in: only football enthusiasts know why behind the reception a TV has to run at full power because of the football and you don't understand your own word.
Otherwise fast and uncomplicated the lady spoke good English. Otherwise you won't get an inch far in the hotel without Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
Rooms and rating of the hotel: the rooms, the hotel and especially the bathroom need renovation. An 8.5 probably according to the Brazilian standard EU hardly. It was ok for 2 nights.
Breakfast good, view very nice.

Nice view with an outstanding breakfast

The locations had outstanding views and close to bara and restaurants.
The European flair made us feel at home while we can still try the local cousin. Good mix.

Sehr gutes Personal guter Service und immer Bemüht

Die Zimmer vorallen das Bad brauchen Dringend eine Renovierung.
Schwarzschimmel in der Dusche versaut den guten Gesamteindruck des Hauses.

Gutes Stadthotel für Städtereise

hübsches Hotel unmittelbar am Strand
Veröffentlicht am 13.03.2014 auf ExpediaDas Hotel lag unmittelbar am Strand und war trotzdem sehr zentral, so dass man viel in Salvador unnehmen konnte. Lokale und Bars waren in unmittelbarer Nähe. Salvordar ist eine höchst interessante Stadt.

Lage: ca. 5 Km von Barra entfernt, Taxi vor der Haustür oder Bus

Salvador - beautiful beaches but alwayss close to traffic collaps and 3rd world infrasturcture
Veröffentlicht am 28.05.2010 auf ExpediaThe hotel is located in a dead alley of Rio Vermelho with access on both sides to small but nice beaches. Strategically excellent location to reach the city commercial centers along the PARALLELA, the old historical center Pelourinho (once beautifully restaurated, now back to old scruffy 3rd world level, very disappointing*) the airport and the beaches along the coast.
On walking distance one can reach some 10 - 15 restaurants and bars of all types and levels. Very pleasant if you want to go for a quick churasco, "petisco" or a cairpirinha (excellent location in 300m distance) right after a hard working day or after a "exhausting" day on the beach.
If I have to go to Salvador, I´ll go to that place!
* I personally know Salvador since 1990, before the big reconstruction. In the years of 95 - 2000 one could see and feel a vital spirit of renovation and pride in the old historical center. This seems to be blown away. Obviously theymanaged the turn-around .... downwards, back to old times, real 3rd world. It´s so sad to watch this.
