Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis so weit so gut. In unserem Zimmer (302) war die Lüftung in der Nacht relativ laut. Zusätzlich klapperte die Klimaanlage sehr laut, was aber tagsdarauf durch einen sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter behoben wurde. Auswahl beim Frühstück leider unterdurchschnittlich. Das Hotel liegt in Gehdistanz zum Stadtzentrum von Solvang. Achtung: Montag/Dienstag ist in Solvang einiges gedchlossen...

Great location, walkable to most restaurants and wine shops. Appreciate that breakfast is included.

This property is not as advertised in terms of pet friendliness. If your pet is anything short of perfect, the staff will treat you horribly. We booked a prepaid reservation for this property for New Years' Eve. The staff were very rude towards us and our 11 month old puppy from the moment we stepped into the hotel because of her barking. We took every measure to calm her down (apart from sedating her), however, the Assistant Manager calling our pet "annoying" while we were having breakfast outside the next day was the final straw. Someone working in the hospitality sector should know to never talk to guests in such a manner. We were stunned by his comments and decided not to stay at the property for our second night. After we communicated our decision to the Assistant Manager and asked for a reimbursement, he initially said he will handle it, however he suddenly changed his mind and decided he would kick us out of the hotel, citing the contract we have signed before checking in. It is very disturbing to think about the possibility that staff can decide to kick out guests who have asked to check out early, on a whim, just to keep the prepaid fee for the night. Needlessly to say, our New Years' Eve would've been ruined if not for the beautiful hotel we stumbled across and stayed for the night in Paso Robles, while on our way back home.

This is not what happened. You were asked nicely and repeatedly to keep your dog from barking, which it did constantly at everyone and everything. You in no way tried to keep the puppy staying quiet. You had no regard for the other guests at the hotel. "Pet friendly" also means friendly pets. You took it offensively and decided to leave on your own recognizance. No one "kicked you out" however we did point out the pet policy but did not in anyway shape or form ask you to leave. No reason to reimburse you as your decision to leave was yours and yours only.

Very close walk to everything.Breakfast danish came from the bakery across the street. Delicious.
