Lakefront, luxurious spacious Room in Contemporary House. Resort-like setting of beautiful Lake Desire and Echo Mountain. Situated in a very quiet & serene environment. Lake and Mountain views throughout from inside Room to outside private Patio where you can sit, relax and enjoy magnificent sceneries. Allow yourself to be absorbed with nature and its tranquility...away from the hustle-and-bustle of daily life. Echo Mountain Trail & several other hiking trails are a few steps away.

You have the entire space for yourself with separate entry, along with large private bathroom with beautiful standing shower. Outside table and chairs on patio are explicitly for you to sit, relax, have breakfast or simply chill out, breathe in some fresh air and enjoy the spectacular views.

Akin to a private and spacious hotel room.

Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and scenic location for this stay close to our destination. It was a great place to rest and recharge for the next adventure. When coming to the PNW we usually stay in the Seattle area and north. This was a great opportunity for exploring a bit more of the SE of Seattle area.

Nice, quiet place right on Lake Desire

We found this a nice quiet place to stay with a 20-30min drive to sites in Seattle or wine tasting in Woodinville. There is a nice hike within walking distance to Echo peak which has a nice view of Rainier. I liked that the host provided charging cables and a laptop computer for use.

Rented room to stay for a triathlon. Very clean and quiet. View was lovely. Would recommend for any athletes looking for a place to stay in Renton, WA

Great host, relaxing lake getaway spot

Peter was a great host; very responsive and generous. The place is a spacious for a 1 bedroom. Description is accurate for all amenities provided. The lake was the best part for us. Very calm and peaceful for sitting on the dock or lawn. Plenty of equipment for anyone (adults/kids) to enjoy canoe, kayak, and SUP. The only drawback is if you're doing things in the City, you'll be driving a fair amount and probably sitting in traffic at some point. But if you're able to just get away, it a lovely spot.

Beautiful Property just east of Seattle

This property is in a beautiful setting, right on Lake Desire, in a very upscale neighborhood. The B&B was very clean and was exactly as advertised. The property manager was very responsive - both by email and text.

Summer fun!

We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards and swimming in the lake. Playing badminton and relaxing outdoors was a great way to end our trip to Washington. There’s a great hike to a peak that starts less than a block away. Peter is a great host!

Beautiful location and Room...Better than The Edgewater!

I stayed at The Edgewater the first night...Nice place, but not worth the price. This room, less than half the price, twice as big, and BEAUTIFUL! Peter was a very nice welcoming host and available to answer any questions we had. At first I thought... oh man.. did I make a mistake booking a place so far out? NOPE!! Easy enough to get to and central to my two destinations of Auburn and Seattle. So nice to wake up to the serene view. We took advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks. Peaceful morning paddles with lovely scenery. Then, out for the day. Super comfortable bed, and the shower!! The shower was amazing!!!

The room was very nice, comfy bed, awesome shower, cool ice maker, spacious room and a beautiful view of the lake! We loved all the amenities! Our favorite part was sitting on the swing with a cocktail watching the sunset. It was nice sitting on the dock too, very cool! The parking was so easy and so close to the room. Thanks for a wonderful time!

It was an amazing place… on the water with lots of things to do, super clean, wonderful accommodations, super nice host, close to the city, clean. Can’t wait to go back and just stay in the property to utilize all the water equipment.

Lakefront oasis

Best experience for your buck! We had a blast playing on the lake. Saw two bald eagles, a bunch of momma ducks with ducklings. Overall great time and we will definitely be back!

Amazing getaway!

We had a great time on the lake!! The kids had a blast jumping off the dock and using the trampoline. Very relaxing and quiet!! Also, the view was so beautiful. The room was super cute and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again!!
