Zwei Stunden vorher wurde unsere Reservierung vom Hotel storniert. Wir waren schon mit dem Taxi unterwegs. Eine Riesensauerei

Gut: Das Frühstück
Lage: Nähe Flughafen IAD. Great Falls Park ca. 20 Minuten Fahrt.
Dies war unser letztes Hotel von 16 Hotels während unserer USA Rundreise. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück reichhaltig und es war für jeden etwas dabei. Ich finde die Anregung wie man sich alles zusammenstellen kann sehr gut.
Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber.

This property was under renovation. The fire alarm went off one night 5 times for no reason staring 4 am. And then with lack of sleep the hotel continued with their instruction and drilling no consideration on what happened. And then they noticed there will be no water for few hours in the morning. We checked out of that hotel. Perhaps once the renovation is complete and they have a better management in place the place will get better but till then highly encourage for folks to stay away from this place

The hotel looked nice from the outside and the room. The building was under construction or renovation. They should have closed until it was done.
1. Noise from 8am to 6pm where you couldn't hear the person next to you.
2. Water off from 11am to 3pm
3. The Most Annoying... Fire Alarm went off 5xs within 24hrs. Including the fire dept. Coming out at 4am and we stood outside in the cold to be told nothing. We left after that could not take it anymore.

I stayed at this hotel Dec 28-29, and nothing about this hotel is good. It's really a disgusting experience. Loud noises, false fire alarms, terrible shuttle, irresponsible and unreachable manager... I don't recommend anyone to stay here.
When I arrived at the airport, I called the hotel for pickup service as instructed(Actually I called them to schedule a pick-up in advance, but they told me only to call after arrival). They said the shuttle would come in 20 minutes, but I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes until I found the shuttle (during which I called them several times). And the shuttle had "Hyatt Place Dulles South" on it, a completely different hotel. How can I know it's heading to my hotel with nobody telling me about this? If I didn't ask the driver whether it was heading to Hyatt Place Dulles, I'm afraid I had to wait for a longer time.
Then, it's the most disgusting thing about this hotel. During a single night, four fire alarms happened on 5pm Dec 28, 4 am, 5 am, 6 am Dec 29. And everyone in the hotel was disturbed by these loud and uncomfortable beeping sounds in their sleep, and had to evacuate with nearly no clothes and bare foot, suffering in the cold wind of the midnight. The fire department later arrived, only to announce that each of the 4 alarms was falsely triggered. Then I asked for compensation, but the front desk only gave me a card with the manager's info. I emailed but had no response till now.
Loud noises from renovation are disturbing, too.
