Ein wirklich wunderbares Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Leider gab es an der Hotelbar nur Flaschenbier und das war mit im Durchschnitt 10 Dollar doch sehr teuer. Ansonsten ist das Hotel super. Genau gegenüber ist eine Station von Capital Bikeshare. Mit den Fahrrädern haben wir alle Ziele in Washington erreicht.

Unfriendly unreliable person.

Zentrale Lage, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Sneaky billing practice but other than quite okay
Veröffentlicht am 07.07.2019 auf HotelsEverything went okay all in all. The room was quiet. The hinges on the bathroom door are a bit rusty but other than that it was squeaky clean. There is something that bothered me quite a lot though. Watch out for the sneaky bill you get slid under your door on the day you check-out. You will be billed a "destination fee" and some other tax that sums upto $35+ every night so it added around a $100 to our room bill for three days - that's without the use of any additional ammenities or the minibar!. They say it is in fine print on the booking page and includes ammenities like their gym (that might be true - I didnt look and I dont care, it's a sneaky way of doing business instead of being upfront about it and adding it to the shown price of the room - also the cowardice of it all, slipping it under the door on the last day instead of waiting for you to check out or better yet, disclosing it when you check in). I dont even care about the money that much, its just this nasty feeling of having been hoodwinked. And for that reason, you do not get a good review from us and we will not be returning. On a positive note, we did like the choices in interior decoration.

Perfect location between Georgetown and the main touristic attractions in Washington (White House etc) and Downtown. Clean and large rooms; well equipped
