You’re also welcome to explore the shared grounds with seating areas, woodlands, an orchard and a paddock for dogs. Private parking is available for two cars.

From the cottage, you will have easy access to the canal towpath, perfect for a tranquil stroll over to the thriving Goytre Wharf (1 mile), a popular spot with a cafe, woodland walks, boat trips, canoe hire and fishing. Other activities on offer in this beautiful part of the Brecon Beacons include golf, hiking, biking and a range of water sports. For climbers, the peaks of The Skirrid, Sugar Loaf, and Blorenge are all within 10 miles. Other local attractions include Castle Raglan, Clydach Gorge, Blue Lagoon, the Big Pit National Coal Museum and Llanover House, all within 8 miles.
