A unique modern villa designed and built by Antonis Hadzidakis, a well known Cretan architect, set on a 5000 sqm plot. The style is minimalist, the stone local, the decoration simple. The villa is located on a hillside and therefore the lower floor offers the same enchanting view with another master bedroom with en suite bathroom and two further bedrooms (one with a 1.80m x 2.10m double bed) with a large shared bathroom the sea. Each of the bedrooms has a terrace and access to the swimming pool via the stairs. Also on this floor is the hammam, a utility room and the studio which can only be opened for an extra fee. The main house can be occupied by 8 people plus 2 small children up to 2 years old. The complete high quality equipment will make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Starting with the very high quality Coco Mat mattresses on the beds (1.80 mx 2.00 m) through to the high quality brand name appliances in the kitchen and the building services. There is internet, TV and Netflix, but who needs all of that when the terrace, the pool, the garden with its old olive trees, the sea and the blue sky are right in front of you. A spacious kitchen and living area as well as the master bedroom with en suite bathroom offer access to the terraces, the infinity pool (64.5 sqm; 1.4 m deep, heatable for the cooler seasons, in the rental price) through the large sliding doors included) and the outdoor kitchen. The villa is the true vacation spot for those people who seek the vastness and tranquility of the Cretan nature. Fabulous day trips can be made from here in an unspoilt part of the beautiful island. There are many restaurants on the beach within driving distance. You can go shopping in Agia Galini, via the coastal road with a wonderful view. They will love driving there, doing their shopping, having a coffee at the port and eating there before heading back. Faros is ideal for walking, swimming or just lounging on the terrace, pool and garden. Swallows come to drink from the pool and many other birds can be seen. If you`re lucky, you might spot dolphins or spot the mustache of the native damselfish The villa is about 3km from the small coastal town of Agios Pavlos, where a mini market and taverns can be found. The sea and a small pebbly beach are not far from the villa and can be reached by stairs leading down the slope. The picturesque harbor town of Agia Galini is only 15 km away and the interesting village of Spili with its monastery and the famous Venetian fountain is 27 km away. Young parties, weddings, celebrations and parties are not allowed.
