Beautiful 5 Bedroom Villa Century, Private pool in the heart of Albufeira Town

Located in the heart of Albufeira, less than 5 minutes walk to the strip, and beach. This large villa is ideal for families or large groups that are looking for a quiet setting with excellent entertainment space. All bedrooms and living room have air conditioning.

Villa Century benefits from a separate apartment attached to the rear of the unit with its own entrance double bed with fitted wardrobes and en suite facilities, and a twin bedroom with ensuite shower facilities Ideal for 2 couples sharing, or for anyone who requires extra privacy.

Property is a short drive to Pinecliffs, Gale, and Guia (where Algarve shopping is located with large supermarket, many shops supplying clothes, shoes, sports equipment, and large cinema with all the latest releases in English) and 25 min drive to Quinta do Lago.

The standard check in time is 16:00 and check out 10:00. We try to be as flexible as we can with this, where other bookings permit.

Bedroom 2: Double bedroom located besdie the main bathroom
Bedroom 3: Twin bedroom located beside the main bathroom

Living room - has a further 2 single beds integrated into the 3 seater sofa.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils.

Great stay!

The villa had everything we needed our own private spot within walking distance of the new town and a short taxi journey to the old town with shops and restaurants also only a short walk away. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area and would definitely book again.

A fabulous stay with friends!

My friends and I have just returned from a 3 day stay in Villa Century and we had a fabulous time. The villa was spotlessly clean and so spacious! Great location, literally 5min walk from the strip but in a quiet and peaceful area. Communication with Jim has been second to none. Thank you so much Jim we hope to be back again sometime soon.

Lovely space in great position

Property was a great size, and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool. It was a short distance to the strip, but couldn’t hear the clubs which was great. Supermarkets were a short walk and ice cream shop was a must every day! Also not far to the beach. The team were really helpful, booking taxis, answering questions and generally very friendly. Beds were a bit hard for my preference, but I got used to it. Overall a lovely Villa for our Hen party.

Great villa for big groups

We loved our stay at Vila Century. It’s located a perfect walking distance from the strip without being noisy and is in a nice area. It’s also a reasonable distance from the old town (20 min walk) and has lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We went as a group of 10 19-21 year olds and it was a perfect size for us. The rooms were all a good size and the beds were comfy. The pool was great but it did get dirty quite easily however the cleaning team were out multiple times to sort this. Contact with Miguel the local manager was unproductive however Jim the property contact was great at communicating with us and also booked us transfers to and from the airport which I would recommend doing. Would highly recommend for big groups visiting Albufeira!

Great Location.

The property was perfect for what we wanted it for and the location was great. Just a few things that could of made our stay even better. We arrived at the property very late and it was disappointing that there wasn't any essentials left at the property for us and as it was so late there wasn't any shops open to go get anything, lucky there was a bar that was open around the corner to the property that we was able to get some bottles of water from. It would of been helpful if there was more instruction for the property as well and also a net to clean out the pool with.

Lovely villa with so much room. Swimming pool was fabulous. Location was excellent, so close to everything. Communication was excellent with Jim. Photos were accurate. Very safe area and convenient to everything. Air conditioning worked great in every room. We did have a problem with the key system. 2 sets would be better because if someone was out late they had to put the keys in the lock box outside the gate meaning everyone else was locked in until the others came back. Also the key locks and keys need replacing as it was very difficult to open the locks. We couldn’t manage to lock the patio door so had to leave it unlocked at night. I think they are old and need new locks. There was only one parasol and I think maybe 2 more would have been great as it was very hot and was nice to get a bit of shade when needed.

Great vacation!

Overall, we were super happy with our vacation and with our home. The location was really excellent and we felt safe at all times. Also, all the facilities were right, only we missed the pool table. The house was clean with nice beds and enough space. Only one shower drain was not running. The location was great. Close to the supermarket, close to the strip and close to the beach and the old town which is also very nice. Also, nothing was mentioned to us about the fact that the house is two-parted and that men came to clean our pool. This could have been mentioned. We also felt that a vacuum cleaner, for example, would not have been superfluous. But actually we were super satisfied. Also we found the contact with the landlord super good and also the airport transfer was ideal. Definitely recommended!

Girls 40th Trip to Albufeira

Excellent communication with the team during booking and arrival at the villa. The gentleman who collected us from the airport (sorry I can’t remember his name) was great and gave us a fantastic insight into where everything was located within the area and advised us on good restaurants etc. He also showed us around the villa and explained how everything worked and who to contact if we had any problems. The villa itself is fantastic and huge! There are two rooms external to the main villa which have their own entrance, perfect if you have teenage kids who like to stay out a little later 😊! Everywhere was very clean and it was well equipped with everything we required. It’s fairly close to ‘the strip’ so the road directly outside can be fairly noisy at night time, but you soon get used to it. Close to bars, shops, restaurants etc. A little further to the old town, but we just hopped into a taxi for a couple of euros. Overall a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this villa to others. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!!

Amazing but could be exceptional

After a little hiccup with check in and the wrong address listed for the villa. We finally made it in. Location is superb, very close to everything. Rooms and bathrooms very clean however the dishwasher didn’t really work and there were times when there were ants in the kitchen. The villa is overlooked by an apartment block which we weren’t anticipating. Weirdly some of the beds are super soft and others super hard. Depends on what you prefer. There were a lot of ants around the pool, however when the sun really comes out they completely disappear. The villa is split into 2, with two bedrooms with a separate entrance. It’s not a problem just a note. Was very happy with how secure we felt and you’re just far enough away to not hear the noise from the main strip. Overall, it did the job but a tiny little face lift, update of kitchen utensils and appliances and this property could be absolutely fabulous!

Poor for the money

Arrived 1st day aircon in main room not working. The locks on the steel gates did not work had to have them replaced fridge/freezer looked like it had been rescued from the skip freezer had 2 out of 3 doors smashed leaving sharp edges. living room and kitchen in need of some major updating. Settees in poor condition. Bedrooms where ok. Overall we paid over £7000 for two weeks i expected amore up to date living area. Outside was ok garden was just one big ants nest .the ants surround the house leave one bread crumb and there in the house. The property is well situated thats the only good point Probably ok for hen and stag does as you can't realy damage the living area's but not good enough for families with children would not recommend until the kitchen and living area are updated

Could have been better

The property manager was pretty efficient. He communicated very well and sorted out transfers etc. There was an initial issue as the address is not as the listing, however the property was close by. The location is first class with an 8 minute walk to The Strip. The villa is also really spacious. As for the property it needs more than a little TLC. The pool is filthy. It also has a massive infestation of ants around the pool. It’s fortunate we were all male group. If I had been with my wife we would have had to leave. The safe broke as the batteries were held in with tape, resulting in all our cash and passport being locked in. However, this was sorted the next morning. The listing suggests that it has a pool table. There isn’t one. The dishwasher also leaks. With a little maintenance, a good clean of the outside and sorting out the plague of ants, this villa could be first class as the location is fabulous.

The villa is the perfect location to get to the strip and a nice space for anyone, but needs updating.Check in was fine and the villa is spacious, good to have the guests in one social room, but the air con wasn’t working in the main room. We made the host aware of this and he sent someone out the next evening to fix it.Some beds are comfy but others are rock hard. The 2 bedrooms in the annexe smelt like sewage, it was uncomfortable for the guests to stay in, they were considering sleeping on the sofas. The host said there are dry drains in portugal and this is ‘normal’ but the smell was overbearing. Main house smelt fine. The villa is old, we stayed here 14 years ago and the furniture is still the same. The sofas are torn and the glass doors to the garden are cracked. They also didnt lock, we had to leave it unlocked whilst out. He sent someone to replace it, but the next day it wasn’t working again. The fridge door is rusty, freezer drawers are broken and there wasn’t a handle. Although its self catering, there should be a welcome pack of cleaning products because there wasn’t any (washing up liquid and sponge, tea towel, hand soap, etc)There’s a very bad ant infestation, it was sorted indoors when we reported it, but they we’re still outside and a lot around the door to garden.It is a lovely villa and if this was all resolved, it would be the perfect place to stay for anyone! Just a few updates needed.

Great holiday on a great location

Het huis en de locatie was fantastisch. De ladies hebben het mega naar hun zin gehad.
