Relaxing 4 Bedroom with Pool and Hot Tub

Welcome to our family home. We love being able to swim and our large backyard, with grill and bar. We hope you will love it too. Our home can sleep 8-10 people with plenty of space to enjoy each others company. The kids will enjoy the indoor slide and the parents will enjoy the master suite, which boasts a rain shower that will whisk all of your troubles away. We are within 15 minutes of Balloon Fiesta park, 18 miles to Expo New Mexico. In addition we are close to many other attractions.

Guests will have access to everything on the property except the garage.

The pool is available all year round. However, there is an extra fee to heat it.
- Please, don’t use the bath towels outside. Plenty of pool towels are provided.

- We live in a quiet community and we’re all for having a good time, we just ask that you turn the volume down by 10pm.

-Try not to use any metal utensils while using the (white) nonstick pans.

*If you need anything for the house that we don’t already provide, please feel free to reach out and request it. If it’s not there, it’s just because we hadn’t thought of it. Especially if it’s something future guests would find useful.*

CHECKOUT:
-Please, strip the sheets off the beds that where used down to the mattress covers and pace them in the washing machine. They won’t all fit so there’s no need to over fill it. I’ll start the machine when I get there. Feel free to leave the quilts/comforters in their assigned rooms. I’ll take care of them later.
-Also, please load all dirty dishes into the dishwasher and start the load before you leave.
-Your welcome to leave any food in the fridge that didn’t get used. I’ll make sure it doesn’t go to waste.
Please, remember to return the Beach Pass. And house keys.


-I hate that I even have to put this in writing, but... if the POLICE have to come out to the house for ANY reason, that is terms for an immediate evection without reimbursement. Please, just keep it classy.

Nice property and stay

I rented the home for a local family event, my cousin and I stayed at the property. Check in and communications were really well managed. The home was in a good location. The pool and hot tub were nice and had been serviced just before our arrival. The house was generally clean. If you rent the home, bring soap for the shower as there isn't any. Kitchen was reasonably well appointed. The overview says it houses 8 people. I wouldn't have more than 6 adults stay in this home. The other two would be children in the room with bunk beds. That room isn't suitable for adults. Overall, nice stay.

We chose this house to stay at because it has a pool, hot tub and looked to be a nice house for our family to stay in. We got there and the hot tub was off, so we went to turn it on to heat it up and there was an overwhelming smell of chemicals coming from the hot tub. It was so pungent and toxic that it burned as we breathed in and made the hot tub unusable. We were unable to turn the lights on in the rooms and could not find the remotes for any of the TVs. The owner did respond to my message quickly about the remotes - all of them were in a pile in the front room. We never did find the remote for the master bedroom TV and were never able to get to TV to work in the other bedroom. There were many things that did not work in the house: dishwasher didn't dispense the soap, so dishes did not get clean, no outlet in the master bathroom that works, only one of the three shower heads in the master bathroom worked, the "king bed" in the master bedroom is two twins pushed together so in the morning they aren't even together anymore, cabinets were falling apart in the kitchen. Just know what you are getting into with this house - it looks pretty, but needs some serious attention.

Good Neighborhood

The house is in a good location. On the surface the house looks good but it's dirty and there were no cleaning products or vacuum to make it cleaner except for granite surface cleaner. The broom was so thickly coated with hair and dirt that I had to take it outside and used my foot to get some of the stuff off so we could use it. The kitchen appliances were in working order but the utensils had food stuck on them and the spatula's and other cooking utensils had been misused and melted and we couldn't get the food particles off of them. It's a little understocked as far as glassware and silverware goes. That's ok if you plan to eat most meals out but we enjoy cooking at the rental. There were multiple remotes for each room and it was challenging to figure out which remote turned on lights and fans. It would be nice if there was a notebook explaining things. I've never rented a VRBO where there wasn't book to assist guests. The glass doors leading outside had multiple dog foot prints and kid hand prints smeared on the glass. No glass cleaner available. Fridge had what looked like blood form a meat package left from last renters. The dryer door was broken and we had to get heavy duty tape to close it and hold the button down that makes it function. It's too bad because its a nice house but its being neglected. There area lot of towels and they were clean as well as the sheets.

Had to cancel because of last minute positive Covid test. Very disappointment we lost around $3000 and were not offered a credit for return trip. Since we come to Albuquerque often, we would have rebooked. Not now!
