Well Farm Cottage is a Grade II listed farm cottage. Due to the age of the building the stairs are little steep, however there are handrails either side and only 11 steps to the top.

Chesterfield is a larger town with a variety of shopping, dining, and historical sites, including the famous Crooked Spire.



Located about 10 miles from Higham Village, Chesterfield Station is a major railway hub with direct services to cities like Sheffield, Manchester, and London. From Chesterfield, you can catch regular trains to many destinations across the country. To reach Chesterfield Station from Higham, you can take a bus or taxi.
