Welcome to the Piney Wood Lodge! This home is an ideal choice for families or a group of close friends looking for the perfect mountain getaway. You'll feel right at home the moment you step inside. The cozy interior is full of mountain life touches, including a truly unique vaulted main living area featuring a custom stone gas fireplace. Guests will enjoy the convenient location, only 3.7 miles (or about an 8-minute drive) to the resort base which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, shopping, dining, entertainment, and other resort attractions. This cabin also provides easy access to miles of neighborhood trails for hiking and mountain biking. This welcoming home is very "family-friendly" with an open floor plan perfect for gathering. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for the whole gang. There are four barstools for seating at the counter and room for six more at the dining table. Across from the kitchen is a full bathroom and a laundry room. Down the hall are two bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed. Downstairs is the primary bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is extra sleeping space on a twin daybed with a twin trundle. At the top level is a loft with a queen bed and two twin beds with trundles. There's also a full bath on this floor. You can relax after an invigorating day of winter skiing, or summer mountain biking, and enjoy the great views from your private patio, and large deck equipped with a propane grill. Create nostalgic memories with the family telling stories by the wood-burning fireplace. Capture picturesque moments by watching abundant elk, deer, and other wildlife. FREE wireless high-speed internet, premium bedding, and completely stocked with everything you need including hotel-quality shampoo/conditioner, soaps, and lotion.

INSURANCE: Most reservations come with accidental damage insurance, should you have an accident in the home. The Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 OR $1,000,000 coverage for property damage and bodily injury depending on the property.

ANGEL FIRE COUNTRY CLUB: Open to the public. A fitness center and indoor heated pool are available for a small fee. Fine dining and a full bar at Elements.
GOLF COURSES: Angel Fire Resort Golf Course (1.7 miles), Valley Escondido Golf Course (12.9 miles).

A 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended. Resort Properties of Angel Fire cannot be responsible for guests unable to reach the booked property due to a lack of a 4WD/AWD vehicle.
