The Space:
The cottage exudes warmth with beamed ceilings, stone fireplaces and period features, typical of a stone house in Derbyshire. The well-equipped kitchen, Large sitting room with Smart TV and log-burning fire and a spacious dining room offer comfort and tranquillity.
Upstairs you find three bedrooms including a super king,( zip and link, can be made into twins on request) with an ensuite, a king size and a bunk bed bedroom. There is also a family bathroom with free standing bath and separate shower.
The garden at the back is ideal for relaxation and there is convenient off street parking for two cars beside the property. This property is the perfect place to stay and explore what Derbyshire has to offer.

For those who enjoy the great outdoors, the nearby Manifold Valley is a must-visit, offering some of the most stunning and picturesque scenery in the Peak District, ideal for walking, cycling, or simply soaking in the views. The valley is home to Thor's Cave, a dramatic natural cavern that is easily accessible for an adventurous hike.
For those seeking more culture, Buxton which is famous for its Georgian architecture and cultural heritage is just a short drive away, offering a wealth of museums, theatres, and shops. Alternatively, more iconic attractions such as Chatsworth House with its magnificent grounds and historic interiors, Alton Towers theme park, and Carsington Water for outdoor activities are all within a short drive. Located in the Dovedale area of the Peak District, Wetton is ideally located for those who have access to their own vehicle. Although the public transport in the quiet and tranquil village isn't vast, there are a few options. The 108 bus connects Wetton to Ashbourne and Leek via Thorpe and Alstonfield. This bus is typically quite infrequent and is mainly used by locals, so you’ll need to check the timetable in advance. Alternatively you can get the local trains Ashbourne is around 10 miles from Wetton and has bus connections to the village. From Ashbourne, you can catch a train to Derby or Stoke-on-Trent, which then connects you to other parts of the country.
