Step onto the covered deck and let the tree canopy close around you: birdsong overhead, hot tub steam rising into the cool mountain air, a gas grill fired up for the evening. Downtown Asheville is 15 minutes away. Tonight, you're not there — you're here, in the treetops, and here is exactly where you want to be.

THE SPACE

THE DECK COMES FIRST

The covered back deck is why guests come back. A private hot tub sits surrounded by the Appalachian tree canopy — open 24 hours, yours alone, no sharing: a full-size gas BBQ grill, outdoor dining, and seating facing the forest. String lights overhead, trees fill your view. A community fire pit with Adirondack chairs is set up for evening fires in the shared common lawn.

INSIDE THE COTTAGE

The main level is one open, connected space — a linear electric fireplace framed by a shiplap accent wall, a 55-inch 4K Roku Smart TV, a sofa, and exposed dark-wood ceiling beams overhead. The kitchen is stocked for a real meal: stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, quality cookware, wine glasses, drip coffee maker, tea kettle, and toaster. The oval dining table seats six comfortably. If someone's at the stove, they're still in the conversation.

SLEEPING

Both bedrooms are downstairs — king-size Helix hybrid mattresses, warm wood platform frames with slatted headboards, hotel-quality linens, and forest-view windows. Quiet and genuinely private. The main-level queen sleeper sofa handles a 5th or 6th guest without the squeeze. Two full bathrooms, one per level, each with a tub/shower combo, plus fresh towels, hair dryer, and a complete set of toiletries.

THE PRACTICAL STUFF

In-unit washer and dryer — pack light and stay longer. Level 2 EV charger on premises — top up overnight, wake up charged. High-speed Wi-Fi and a spread-out space to work remotely. Coffee, a selection of teas, and sweeteners provided. 5 steps at the front entrance; two-level layout (not wheelchair accessible).

WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR

COUPLES ON A MOUNTAIN WEEKEND — Hot tub on arrival night. Biltmore on Saturday, long dinner downtown. Lazy Sunday morning coffee on the deck with the forest to yourselves. You'll leave wishing you'd booked four nights.

FRIEND GROUPS OF 4–6 — Two private king bedrooms, a queen sleeper sofa, two full bathrooms, and an open floor plan built for togetherness. Hot tub and fire pit take care of the evening itinerary.

REMOTE WORKERS STRETCHING THE TRIP — High-speed Wi-Fi, space to work at the table, full kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, and an EV charger make a 5–7 night stay genuinely practical. Work until noon; find a waterfall after.

HIKERS AND EXPLORERS — Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway are within 20 minutes. Come back trail-tired, shower, and slide into the hot tub.
