The Name: To the Ancient Greeks, Phos (Φῶς) was “a pure, brilliant quality of light, signifying a break in the darkness, a triumph of truth and knowledge over ignorance”. The luminosity and unique beauty of Greek light have captured the imagination of poets, Lord Byron, Odysseus Elytis, and Constantine Cavafy to name a few. Phos is the epitome of creation and beauty, in Plaka, the centre of light in our city, Athens.


Our spacious suite features modern design with traditional touches, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The highlight of the suite is the private patio, where you can relax and admire the breathtaking panorama of the Parthenon. Whether you’re sprawled out on the sofa in the living room or lying down in the bedroom, the Acropolis is never out of sight.
