Our stay at this accommodation was very disappointing overall and fell well short of expectations based on the listing.
Communication prior to arrival was poor. We had to chase for basic check-in information, including access codes and instructions for entering the property. This created unnecessary stress before arrival and made the check-in process feel disorganised rather than welcoming or prepared.
When we arrived, the lockbox provided for the key was not actually secured, even though a PIN had been supplied. This raised immediate concerns about the security of the property and whether proper procedures were being followed.
Once inside, the apartment did not match the photos advertised, particularly the bathroom, which looked very different in reality compared to the listing. This felt misleading and contributed to a lack of trust.
We also noticed exposed wires coming out of the wall and an unusual exit sign above the only door in the apartment. Again adding to the misrepresentation of what we set out.
The Wi-Fi did not work during our stay. When we raised this, an alternative network was provided, but this also failed to connect, leaving us without internet access.
Finally, the noise levels were very disruptive. It was a Saturday night, however, we were woken at around 3am by loud music from an individual staying in the same apartment block.
We appreciate this apartment block is new, however get the process and amenities correct before advertising. Unacceptable.
