What is the parking situation?
Guests park on the street. There is plenty of parking for a car or two in front of the house and plenty more on the street.

Are baby items available?
Yes! We have a pack n play and high chair stored in the bedroom closets. We also leave a few diapers, wipes, toddler dishes, etc.

Can we check in early or check out late?
We can arrange up to a two hour early check ins and late check outs. There is a $20 fee per hour.

Is the house a stand alone home?
Yes. The house is a single bungalow. We live in the back house but it is VERY separate. Guests enter from the front door and have a private fenced backyard. Our little house is at the end of the driveway and set back and to the side.

Is the space wheelchair friendly?
There are a few steps up to the front door. The entire house is one level, but the doorways are not too wide

How do I check in?
A day or two before your arrival, we send the details for your check in: address, door code, wifi info. You will be able to come and go using a code. Your personal code is activated at 3 pm, so if you request an early check in the code may not work. Just remind us!

Can I extend a stay?
To extend a stay, you can request through the app or message us. We will check the calendar then send confirmation with the new payout.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?
We have a moderate cancellation policy. It may vary a bit between platforms, but usually 5 days prior to arrival guests may receive a full refund. If a guests wants to make changes within the five days arrival or after arrival, we cannot provide a refund.

Are pets allowed?
Due to allergies, we cannot allow pets.


Are there extra pillows?
We provided two pillows per person. For instance, a queen bed will have four sleeping pillows. We leave plenty of extra blankets as well.

Do you have beach towels?
Yes! We leave towels for taking to the pool or lake. We also have blow up floaties - we leave them on the back patio.

Are extra guests allowed?
If you have a few (2-3) friends pop over, this is not an issues. If you have extra guests sleeping over or more than five guests for an event, please ask and we can asses:)

Is smoking allowed outside?
Yes, you are welcome to smoke outside the space. Please pick up cigarette butts. Smoking inside the home would result in a 250.00 fee for cleaning and possible blocking nights for other guests.

Could we leave our luggage?
We are able to store luggage in the space for two hours before or after check in. Let us know so our cleaners are not surprised. Our carport is also a safe option for leaving bags for a longer time period. Just let us know. There is also a service (usebounce) that is an option for storing bags.

Are a washer and dryer available?
Yes. The washer/dryer is located outside the back gate.

What is a MUST do in Austin?
We love Barton Springs (especially in warmer months). South Congress has so much in a close proximity. Park close to Jo’s Coffee and stroll from there (shopping, cafes, music!). Vera Cruz tacos are really the best Austin has! Our Capital is gorgeous and very worth a drive by!

Quiet hours outside after 10:00PM. This is a neighborhood and we love our neighbors. *If you are loud past quiet hours and do not comply if asked to be quiet or go inside, we reserve the right to ask you to vacate the premises.
