Beautiful Farmhouse in Azay-Le-Ferron
Le Fournil and La Grange (P219346) are a traditional stone âlongĂšreâ style farmhouse and its gĂźte, situated in a small hamlet just beyond the village of Azay le Ferron, in the heart of the French countryside. The area is on the edge of the Brenne national park, popular with birdwatchers and nature lovers.
The beautiful Loire Valley is famous throughout the world for itâs many opulent ChĂąteaux and magnificent gardens. With many nearby activities such as golf, cycling and watersports, there is something for everyone.
Le Fournil is a 300 year old longĂšre style farmhouse which although recently updated, retains a wealth of original features such as beams, exposed stone walls and a huge working fireplace. The salon has easy chairs and a sofa as well as a dining table which comfortably seats ten. The television room has a flat screen TV with UK satellite channels, a DVD player, and WiFi.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the usual gadgets including microwave and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a range of equipment for babies and toddlers.
Downstairs there is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, and a twin bedroom with separate bathroom with bath. Upstairs are a further two double bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, and a twin bedroom as well as a further separate shower room. The soft Egyptian cotton sheets and the tranquillity of the French countryside will ensure a perfect nightâs sleep!
The large garden overlooks open farmland, and contains apple, pear and walnut trees.
Each house has a paved seating area with table and chairs and barbeque.
There is a childrenâs play apparatus in front of each house, and a table tennis table, boules set, badminton set and a sandpit which can be shared.
The 10 x 5 metre swimming pool, shared between the two houses, has a large paved surround for sunbathing.
It is fully fenced to comply with current French safety regulations.
The pool is heated between the 1st May and 30th September.
