Overall a nice property that was presented as clean and welcoming with a nice touch of coffee pods and a bottle of wine on arrival. Although the bedding was unlike that we have used previously we did get a good nights sleep for the 9 days stay that we booked. Nice to have a parking space for our motorcycle in an underground garage although the garden pictures were not accurate - due to the drought conditions and the fact that the building is undergoing renovations and there were building materials lying around! I took a star off our review as there was no microwave as advertised - this did not bother us but others may be disappointed. The only other issue we had was with the keys - the garage door entrance did not always unlock so we used the back door a lot. The apartment door also has to be pulled closed to allow the key to unlock the door - a trick we took a couple of days to work out. The apartment is a 10 - 15 minutes walk down to the town with its shops and restaurants - and a pedestrian bridge across the river to Switzerland. There are large supermarkets about a 15 -20 minute walk away - we would recommend the 1st floor restaurant at Schmidts. The only thing I believe the apartment could benefit from is a "Welcome" book with information about the local area viz swimming pools, shops, restaurants, places to visit etc. although there is a Tourist information office in town!
