Willkommen im Ibis Roost 17 auf Bald Head Island!

Unser Cottage mit drei Schlafzimmern befindet sich im Ibis Roost und ist Ihr Zuhause in der Ferne! Der Wohnbereich, die KĂŒche und das Esszimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss zusammen mit der Master-Suite (King) und dem GĂ€stezimmer (Queen) mit Bad. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich ein privates Schlafzimmer und ein Bad mit einem Queensize-Bett, zwei Einzelbetten und einer Sitzecke. Wir sind eingebettet in den privaten Meereswald mit großartigem Leben im Freien! Wir haben eine tolle Wrap-Around-Veranda zusammen mit einer Screen-Veranda mit viel Spaß im Freien. Nach einem kurzen Spaziergang können Sie auch den Gemeinschaftspool genießen. Unser Haus kommt mit einem 4 Personenwagen und viel StrandausrĂŒstung.

The perfect location to get to all must-see spots on the island. The house comes with two golf carts that ran well and are really nice. Loved that they included beach chairs, toys, and games. We will definitely be back!

We love coming to BHI every year and we really enjoyed staying at 17 Ibis Roost this year. The home was the perfect hideaway in the maritime forest to come back to after a long day at the beach. It’s conveniently located in the center of the island. Both golf carts worked great. Our kids enjoyed staying in the upstairs loft. Having access to the neighborhood pool was a big benefit too.

Anniversary Getaway

Even the rain couldn't chase away our relaxing stay....

BHI is one of our favorite places and this trip didn't disappoint. The weather wasn't as agreeable but it forced us to relax. The unit was easy to access and had all the necessities. The beds slept great and the porch provided covered outside space to enjoy the rain.

Pretty nice getaway

Very nice property that was comfortable. The only problems we encountered were that the larger golf cart ran down quickly, and if you like to cook at the place it had a very small kitchen. There were a lot of remodeling supplies laying around so i guess they will be making renovations soon? The island is a wonderful place to visit if you love the beach and nature...and we do!

Holiday weekend in our happy place

Perfect home for our family with college age kids. We enjoyed all the BHI things we’ve loved for years plus some new shops and restaurants. Great location. House had everything we needed to cook one night and all our breakfasts. Clean and comfy.

Our Stay

It was a wonderful week at Ibis 17...... we loved the home in spite that the upstairs is NOT private, which was in the description. However the upstairs was great for a family of two children or 4 men or 4 women. The kitchen was small....a one person kitchen. The coffee pot was challenging. The door to the screened in porch was difficult to close & lock. We killed 2 roaches. Had problems with the white golf cart's reverse, however, management fixed it right away. None of these issues interfered with our having a wonderful stay at this home.

Ideal beach cottage at back of Ibis Roost, so quiet and houses more spaced with view of woods . Nice to have 2 carts. Both worked great. Beds comfy. Small kitchen but we are not at the beach to cook!

Life of Reilly needs some TLC

My family and I love going to BHI and we've always have excellent experiences. This one was just ok. The property needs some TLC for sure. There is extensive water damage to the floors on the first floor in the master suite and kitchen. The living room furniture and dining room chairs are old with a lot of stains, same with the carpet on the second floor. Given the cost per night, I expect better. I did contact property manager the night we arrived and they said that its been this way for a long time. We were allowed a later check-out time, so that was nice. And the island is always beautiful. Will make sure I stay at a different propery next time.

close to nature

Luxury in the great outdoors. Bald Head Island is different from most any other resort. Instead of manicured borders, you have huge live oak trees that have been there for hundreds of years. Getting around the island on golf carts adds to the fun.

Incredible Ibis Roost

This property is amazing, it was just the two of us but could have fit the whole family no problem. It was a great location, centrally located on the island.. It was comfortable, clean and a perfect retreat. The pictures do not do it justice as this place is priceless. Having the golf cart was a huge bonus..we were able to tour the whole island and enjoy the unique environment on Bald Head. The rental company was amazing..keeping you well informed from how to get there all the way thru check out instructions. They even helped us out of a pickle when we locked ourselves out on the patio during breakfast.. Ibis Roost #17 Definitely an A+ in our book.,check it out you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. The home was accurately described. Very nice to have two golf carts, including one that appears to be brand new. Property manager was very helpful since we inadvertently locked ourselves out at one point and they were quick to resolve our dilemma.

17 Ibis Roost Get-A-Way

My family and friends all went to stay at Ibis Roost for a weekend getaway from all the chaos of our home lives. We all left our kids with the grandparents and took off for the weekend. The house has plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. However, I recommend only one person in the kitchen cooking as it is a very tight kitchen. They have two golf carts at the location one you can tell is brand new and a lot faster. The older cart has a lift kit and big tires very nice stance and cool look, but it is very slow and you have to pull off to the side of the road to let others pass by you. We also stopped by Jules and sat at the bar. If you’re a bourbon drinker definitely try Jules’ Mule. Overall this stay was great. Bald head island is the true meaning of getting away . We can’t wait to come back soon.

Awesome visit and the house was great!

Short visit- great house! Very comfortable for 4 of us! We were attending a great wedding- only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!
