Dear Sir or Madam,I am writing to formally report serious issues we experienced during our recent stay.Upon arrival, it was immediately apparent that the unit had not been properly prepared or cleaned prior to our arrival. The beds were unmade, and the bed sheets and pillowcases were dirty and had not been replaced. As no clean linens were available, we were forced to use our own T-shirts as pillowcases. The bathrooms had not been cleaned, dirty towels were left on the bathroom floor, and no clean towels were provided.In addition, the thermostat was set to 60F and could not be adjusted. Given that February 1 was one of the coldest days in the history of Sugar Mountain, the temperature in the unit was extremely uncomfortable. Even with the fireplace in use, the unit remained cold, and we had to sleep almost fully dressed.We contacted Vacasa immediately upon discovering these issues and were assured that the local property management would resolve them. Our only request was for clean sheets, pillowcases, and towels. The following day, we contacted Vrbo, but we were again referred to the local property management. We were provided with a Vacasa North Carolina phone number (1 252-689-0326), which was not in service.Throughout our entire stay, we received no assistance beyond repeated apologies and requests for patience.
