"Sunrise Over Seven Devils” provides comfortable mountain living with full modern amenities with a beautiful mountain vista and beautiful sunrises. Our home is located in a desirable location in Seven Devils, located between Boone and Banner Elk with all paved access. At over 4,000-foot elevation, this wonderful home provides cooler summer climates and a scenic view of the North Carolina mountains. You even have views of Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline from the deck.

Our home IS pet friendly, but there is a maximum of 2 dogs weighing less than 40 pounds, each. The pet fee is $100 per pet plus tax and must have management approval. We ask that you clean up after your pet’s “business” and properly dispose of the waste.

Main Floor: The main floor offers 2 king size bedrooms with En Suite bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with gas fireplace (seasonal-Oct. 1-April 1), cable TV and access to the large open deck.

The living room offers a gas fireplace (seasonal) for those cold winter days, a wall of windows to enjoy the mountain views.

The step-saver kitchen offers dishwasher, refrigerator, electric oven, regular coffee maker and most items needed for preparing and cooking a great meal. The dining table can seat up to 8 guests with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Plus, we provide a high chair.

There are 2 king size bedrooms on the main floor. The first master bedroom offers a king size bed, TV, En Suite bathroom with double sinks, step-in shower, jetted tub and 2 toilets. It also has access with a sliding glass door to the large deck.

The Jr. master bedroom offers another king size bed, En Suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is another access from the main living area to this bathroom for the guests. You have access to the deck from this bedroom as well with beautiful mountain views to wake up to every morning!

Lower Level: Enjoy spending quality time in the game room on the lower level with a full size pool table, Roku TV and lots of board games. There is additional sleeping with a queen size sleeper sofa and there is access to the lower level deck with seating. Views from each level of our home!

The third bedroom is on the lower level that offers another king size bed and twin/twin bunk bed. The bedrooms offer an En Suite third bathroom with tub/shower combo. There is access from the game room to the bathroom for convenience.

Outside: Take advantage of our nice fire pit with beautiful mountain views (wood not provided). The back deck offers a gas grill and dining table with chairs. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and cool summer days! Enjoy our awesome hot tub after a long day of hiking, snow tubing, skiing, shopping or just to relax and let the jets sooth your stress away.

Location: Sunrise Over Seven Devils is located just a half mile from Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline. The closest hiking trails are located at Otter Falls Trail, which is about 0.8 mile away or a 2 minute drive. Grandfather Vineyard and Winery is 3.4 miles (8 minute drive). Appalachian State University is 12 miles away. Blowing Rock is a short 13.5 miles (less than 30 minutes) from our home. Grandfather Mountain is 14.2 miles (30 minutes). Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is less than 8 miles. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is 15.5 miles. Appalachian Ski Resort is 17 miles. Tweetsie Railroad and Mystery Hill is approximately 16 miles (30 minutes). Important Notes:
***The cabin is access by paved state and city maintained paved roads. However, it may be necessary to have 4X4 vehicles with tire chains during the winter months.
***The driveway is paved, but steep.
***Parking for up to 4 vehicles.
***The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home.
***There is no land-line phone in this cabin. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
***No Smoking inside the cabin
***Minimum age requirement is 25 years old
***Check in time: 4:00 PM; Check out time: 10:00 AM

2 night minimum for off peak seasons
3 night minimum for holidays and the entire month of October
4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday
7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions.
