Hillgrove sits in a quiet residential pocket of Kelso, about a 9-minute drive from the Bathurst CBD. The Ohkuma Japanese Garden and the Bathurst Adventure Playground are around 9 minutes away, and the internationally known Mount Panorama racing circuit is about 14 minutes. An IGA is a 6-minute drive for groceries, and the Bathurst Regional Airport is roughly 10 minutes. For food and wine, Church Bar serves wood-fired pizza in an old schoolhouse (about 10 minutes) and Mount Panorama Wines is close by for cellar-door tastings.
