The gourmet kitchen has rough hewn quartzite countertops, vintage style edison lighting fixtures, and brand new appliances. There is a brand new mini-split system on both levels for air-conditioning. The bathrooms have undergone complete renovation with custom carrera marble paneling in the bath and shower areas, slate floors, knotty alder solid core doors & cabinets and new fixtures. The bathtub is a real cast iron tub designed for deep relaxing soaks. The living room has 20' ceilings with paneled windows to let in tons of natural light and landscape. Numous skylights also bring in light from above. There is a woodstove hearth constructed entirely from reclaimed bricks from the Bayview area that date back to the early 1950's. Much of the on site furniture is made from regional reclaimed barnwood - such as the herringbone patterned queen bed in the master bedroom. Upstairs there is a cozy loft with a huge king bed fit for the perfect night's rest as well.

The downstairs level affords huge entertainment perks! There is a fully decked out game room with a commerical grade ARCADE machine set up for 4player control, and it has all the classic games from the 80's / 90's and 2000's. Play all your favorites... and then let your kids become mesmerized, as it is program chipped with over 6,000 arcade era games to choose from - all on free play! Not to be overlooked either is the commercial grade foosball table to dust off your goal shot skills! Tired of playing video games or foosball? Go hit the SAUNA! This log cabin was built on site in 1975. It was the first home built within Cape Horn Estates in Bayview and sits on a double lot. It was constructed out of old growth cedar. It underwent a comprehensive remodel in 2022 that took over one year to achieve and was completed in May of 2023. The project aim was to keep the rustic authenticity of the location, ambiance, and atmosphere of the cabin while adding some modern enhancements.

Bayview is located 25 mins north of Coeur d'Alene and about that same distance to Sandpoint continuing north on Highway 95. Locally there is a mercantile store, coffee shop, bar & restaurant, and boat rentals. The big game fishing is superb. It is a quick 10 minute drive to Silverwood Theme Park, and Farragut State Park with over 4,000+ acres is literally right next door. Large scale grocery shopping, gas, fishing & camping supplies, restaurants, banking, etc., are a quick 10 minute drive down the road at the Crossroads Development in Athol.
