It is located in unspolit countryside with beautiful views of Dartmoor and surrounding areas. The property is located in Okehampton a short distance from quaint local village of Sheepwash and just a 30 minute drive from Bude Beach and Instow Beach.

Begin your exploration of this unique ground floor property as you walk into the cosy and inviting open plan kitchen, living area and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to prepare a home-cooked meal for four, including an electric oven, electric hob, slimline dishwasher and an under-counter fridge with an icebox. The dining table is the perfect space to gather together for breakfast to plan your adventurous day ahead and the living area offers a relaxing sanctuary after a busy day exploring, comfortably furnished with a sofa, armchairs, smart TV with freeview and a woodburner (the first bundle of logs are provided). The two beautifully presented bedrooms both lead off the open plan living area, the first is furnished with a double bed and the other with twin beds. The family bathroom is fitted with a shower over the bath, heated towel rail, toilet and sink. To top off this beautiful property, patio doors open out from the living area to the back garden which has a lawn and outdoor seating. The perfect suntrap to enjoy your morning coffee.

Pigaway Cottage is ideally suited to explore the charming north Devon coast and countryside and there is so much to see and do from your holiday home. The starting point for the popular 180 mile Tarka Trail route is just ten minutes drive away, incorporating one of the country’s longest continuous traffic-free walking and cycling paths. The market town of Hatherleigh is just 5 miles away and the breathtaking Dartmoor National Park is within a 30 minute drive. There is fabulous surfing on the North Cornwall and North Devon Coast with beautiful beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde, Bude and Sandymouth. Enjoy a day out at Hartland, visit the lighthouse, Hartland Quay and the historic fishing village at Clovelly. The towns of Great Torrington and Bideford lie close by, where you will find most amenities. The Eden Project can be enjoyed within an hour’s drive, but even closer to your accommodation are Okehampton Castle, the RHS gardens at Torrington and the War Horse Valley Family Park at Iddesleigh. The Milky Way and The Big Sheep adventure parks will fascinate the younger ones. Beach 18 miles.
