Water's Edge at Ocean St - Enjoy Penobscot Bay
Welcome to Water’s Edge on Ocean St. on the banks of Penobscot Bay! With over 60 feet of waterfront, it offers a 180-degree view of the bay and Cadillac Mountain. Relax on the deck to watch the sailboats and resident loon float by, the bald eagles fly by, and the seals play hide and seek. Or take a leisurely stroll along the shore. The vibrant community of Belfast is an easy 10-minute walk into town. Enjoy falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and wake to the sunrise over the bay.
Water`s Edge at Ocean St. is located down a quiet, dead end road, directly parallel to Penobscot Bay. There is a one-car garage, plus the driveway can accommodate two additional cars. On-street parking is not allowed. The main entrance is located to the right of the garage door and is equipped with a keypad for self check-in.
Upon entering the home you will immediately notice the breathtaking views of the bay across the kitchen, through the sliding glass doors. One unique feature of Water`s Edge is it has all the amenities for first floor living while also having additional space on the second floor to accommodate larger groups, depending on your needs! First floor amenities include one bedroom with king-sized bed, large bathroom with walk-in shower, washer and dryer, large walk-in closet and fully stocked kitchen. On the first floor you will also find indoor and outdoor seating for 6, half bathroom and a den with a desk, couch and television.
On the second floor there are two more bedrooms, each with king-sized beds as well as a bonus third bedroom with a twin bed. A full bathroom, complete with a bathtub rounds out the second floor.
The home can easily serve 6 people, but may be able to accommodate more and will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

*During the colder months (November - March) the outdoor furniture will be inside for the winter!
Although we love our pets, please note that there are NO PETS allowed at Water`s Edge.

Guests will have access to the entire home, outdoor deck, backyard and stairs to the beach. There is one locked owner`s closet on the first floor, in the office. The door to the basement under the deck is also locked and not for guest use.
There is direct beach access via a small set of stairs for guest use, but please note that neighbors may access the beach via these stairs as well.
I am also available via the Airbnb app as well as by phone if necessary. Self check-in is available so you won`t see me unless you need me!
Water`s Edge is located on a private and quiet street in Belfast. The neighbors keep to themselves and enjoy the tranquility that living on the ocean brings. The home is located on a dead end so there isn`t much traffic and is best suited for folks wanting to relax and embrace the midcoast.
Belfast is located approximately 45 minutes from the Bangor Airport and approximately 2 hours from the Portland Jetport. There are no reliable taxi services or ride sharing options. Guests will need a vehicle when visiting.

There are two heat pumps downstairs that provide AC to the first floor. There are two heat pumps upstairs in the bedrooms with the king sized beds.
Note: There is a full-house generator that cycles for approximately 10 minutes on Monday afternoons. This is a standard setting and won`t be a bother inside the house.
Please enjoy the beach and ocean but do so at your own risk.
