Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Villa Gard RentalTo Whom It May Concern,We are writing to express our deep disappointment regarding our recent booking at Villa Gard. Our group consisted of three couples, all of whom are owners of holiday homes on the ocean in the Caribbean. We regularly rent out our own properties, and we would never consider presenting them to guests in the condition in which this property was offered to us.Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the villa was not as advertised. The outdoor areas were neglected: the grass was uncut, shrubs were overgrown, and the concrete areas were mossy and in need of thorough cleaning. The “view” promised in your listing simply did not exist.More concerning was the interior. On entering, we were met with a strong musty odor that instantly triggered my asthma. A single night in that villa would have placed me in the hospital. The toilet on the first floor was not working. This made the property not only unpleasant, but uninhabitable for health and safety reasons.After a long day of traveling, we were in no condition to endure such surroundings. There was nothing you could have reasonably done in the short time of our stay to remedy the multiple issues. For these reasons, we had no choice but to vacate the villa. In hindsight, we are grateful for that decision.Would never recommend this so called ‘villa’
