Wonât be back
Upon arrival, the place was not clean. Toilet clogged, floor was not vacuumed , peanut butter like substance smeared down the leg of dining room table, finger prints all over coffee table in living room, glass doors (front and back) had finger prints all over them- just to name a few things. I would be frustrated with the filth anyways, but especially annoyed with the filth because I was told there was no early check in because of the extra cleaning that would be done due to covid. If thatâs true, Iâd hate to see what this place looks notwithstanding covid. The management was quick to send out a house keeper. She buzzed through the house doing a fair job. I continued to wait a couple more hours for maintenance. Called again and they somehow closed my ticket inadvertently. Maintenance promptly came upon the second call. I was then schooled on how to flush the toilet (hold the handle down until everything disappears in the bowl and then a couple seconds thereafter.)
Frankly I wouldnât come back to this property unless changes are made. The pictures of this place look nice and beautiful, but donât be fooled. They do not show the stained, filmy carpet, or the filthy air intake, the stained kitchen table and counter tops, or the doors that barely shut or are difficult to open, ect.
One final thing that was annoying. I never knew which two parking spots were mine. I called the office upon arrival and they said they didnât know either and to just park right in front. It wasnât until later I learned that only one of those spots belonged to the house. The secondary spot is across the way.
On the positive side, beds were comfortable and there were a variety of pillows to choose from. Proximity to the boardwalk, oceanfront and places to eat was great!
Three simple improvements that would go along way and change my mind about staying here again. 1. Get a new housekeeping service. 2. Pull the carpet out and put hard flooring in (tile or wood- anything but carpet) 3. Replace or paint the dining table. Itâs disgusting to look at.
