Cozy and well-supplied mountain cabin. Has everything you need, especially in the kitchen. We had a cool, rainy weekend so the pellet stove and the hot tub were great. Convenient to downtown. I loved sitting in the window seat to watch the sunrise. Overall clean, a little dust in the corners here and there. Friendly host, and he was kind enough to let us know there were no bookings either side of us so we could check in early and out late. Would stay here again.

Cute and cozy house. Just wish it had been cleaner. It was overall quite dusty and floors were not vaccumed if at all. Upstairs bedroom had a tv that did not work at all. Apparently this has been an ongoing issue. Easy check-in process. House is equipped with all the necessities. Quiet neighborhood and overall cozy stay.
This was our first day there and no, we hadn't consumed nor brought cheerios.

The place was a little unclean, I’m guessing there was a guest there immediately before us
 quite a bit of dog hair, and the jacuzzi was very murky and water just looked dirty
 the cabin was nice good size, not much space in terms of couch areas to sit, but there was a nice dining area to eat at. Didn’t seem like either of the 2 coffee makers worked.. beds are all “fulls” so 2 people in one bed is a little cramped even if you’re not a very big person. Over all was a good stay, but I just really feel like it wasn’t cleaned or thoroughly checked prior to our visit and newer more comfortable beds would have made a huge difference.

The hot tub was fantastic. Got up to a great temperature and jets worked. Was a very cozy place to stay. The lake is a short walk, so is the market. We had a nice quiet two day retreat from the city. I was able to smoke a cigar on the back deck also, which was a major plus. We will definitely be returning.

The check-in process was super simple. And probably the best part of the whole stay at “No Worries.” What a name because the whole weekend we were worried about everything in the house. Where do I start? The kitchen appliances in the house were still in good shape except we couldn’t get the over to turn on. The drawers were all a mess and nothing was organized. There were condiments left open inside the refrigerator! In the bathrooms, shampoo and conditioner bottles were also left open. the downstairs shower head was disgusting and the upstairs bathtub took roughly 30-45 minutes to drain! To top it off there were cobwebs in a bunch of different areas through out the house. The jacuzzi was heating up for a long while about 3-4 hours and only went up 7 degrees( very upsetting because it was quite cold at night). I won’t be staying here again.

We had a great time. It was nice to come back to the cabin after walking the village, hiking, and/or kayaking and relax in the hot tub and watch the stars, satellites, and airplanes. The bed was comfortable and the place well kept. The owner was always responsive and accommodating.

Everything was just great about this Summer Rental. Clean/As advertised/Everything works. Great location, very close to The Village, which is I guess downtown Big Bear. Owner was very gracious to us in working with us. Jacuzzi was great. This was our second time to rent this property, and we would definitely rent again for a future trip to Big Bear! Great little cabin! Very short walking distance to the lake and not too much further to restaurants/ the village. We enjoyed sitting out having coffee on the deck and using the hot tub. Our only concern was with the overall cleanliness of the cabin, upon check in we noticed red drink stains in the kitchen sink, toothpaste stains in the bathroom sinks, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, a load of linens in the dryer. It just appeared that the turnover from the previous visitors was very quick and not thorough. Other than that this place is a great option for Big Bear stays!

The house is great, and easy to find. It’s a nice, and quiet neighborhood. It was clean and had the basics like towels and sheets on the bed. It has a smart tv, so you can stream your channels if you have your own membership. The only issues we had was the refrigerator was not at the proper temp when we arrived, the hot tub takes several hours to heat up, the kitchen knives are extremely dull, and the oven dial is so faded that you can’t set the oven temp accurately. Having coffee available was great, and they have basic seasonings and condiments in the fridge. The propane for the bbq was low, but it was enough for us. It does not have a/c but it gets lovely breezes throughout the day.

Big Bear Valentine’s Day / President’s Day Weekend

Decent Stay, But Manage Your Expectations

The place was fine for what it was—don’t get your hopes up based on the pictures, though. It looks a lot better in the photos than in real life. The house is outdated and doesn’t seem to have been updated in years. The beds are listed as queens, but they’re actually fulls, which was disappointing. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for my family, and it would definitely be tough to fit four adults comfortably.There wasn’t much space for the family to sit and relax in the living room, which I didn’t realize when booking. That said, the location is convenient—close to the village, skiing, and snowboarding—and it’s in a quiet neighborhood. There are no bells and whistles here, but for what I paid, it did its job.The property manager was great—super low-key, with not a ton of strict rules, which I appreciated. I don’t think I’d stay here again, but I don’t regret the stay. It was fine for what it was, as long as you manage your expectations. Dudley is a good host!One surprising fact was how many condiments and coffee they had! Everything is dated but I travelled with my own ketchup not knowing there would be any, so that’s a plus! Overall, the stay was fine for our family, we enjoyed it though.

Great quiet getaway

I loved staying here. It was easy to find, close to the lake, and close to all kinds of food options and hikes etc.Using the hot tub at night was perfect. I hope to stay here again in the future. It was fantastic.
