Nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains on a lake, it is less than two hours from Philadelphia, New York City and Harrisburg, making it a quick and easy getaway. There is a Wawa, a CVS pharmacy, a Dunkin Donuts, a Dollar General, a state liquor store, a supermarket and a beer distributor all within 2 miles of the house. The beer distributor has the old fashioned pick your own candy out of jars; pay by weight loved by adults and children.

This home is a 1700 square foot house with two levels. The ground level is filled with entertainment room; upstairs is an open concept living/dining/kitchen area with a wood burning stone fireplace. This lovely home has a stocked kitchen, and large windows to enjoy the view, a private east facing deck that is sunny until late afternoon, and access to a private fishing lake.

The ground floor consists of a rec room with large sectional, electric fireplace stove, 55 inch TV, air hockey table and direct outside access. Laundry is also located on this level. This area is a great second living space for kids and adults.

Upstairs is where the main living area is located. All 3 bedrooms are on this level, and there is direct entry to this level as well. There are 2 queen bedrooms, and bunk twin/twin room. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The main family room features large picture windows, so you can watch the family outside and enjoy the views of the lake and wooded surround. This room also offers 55" SMART TV to keep you entertained when you are not out enjoying all that the area has to offer. We have paid attention to details in order to make your stay easy. Linens are provided, as well as a full kitchen stocked with cooking supplies, dinnerware, and other essentials. Outside of the sliding doors is a private deck. There is outdoor table for 4, several chairs and lounging chairs. Nestled under the deck is a private hot tub for enjoy the views.

Outdoors is a wonderful place to enjoy lake life. There is a walkway to the lake, with benches to sit and enjoy the view. A firepit is available for you to sit around and enjoy a campfire. Under the deck is a hot tub and hammock swings to relax. Lastly, we have installed a tree swing for kids to enjoy. We also have kayaks and canoes for your use to enjoy the outdoor mountain life.

This home is located in the Camelot Forest community. The community has a second lake with a private swimming beach, volleyball and tennis courts and a small playground area that are available for your use. This area is about a mile away. It’s a 15 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and a 10 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Area. Camelback is about a 25 minute drive. Casinos are also available if gambling is your choice. The outlets are about a 25 minute drive. The house is located 8.5 miles from the indoor water park and Galleria at Split Rock. The largest waterpark Kalahari is a 15 minute drive.
