The Space:

From the moment you arrive, the love for western art and Texas shines through every corner of this retreat. Stepping into the inviting living room, you're greeted by a spacious area adorned with a large comfortable sofa, three plush armchairs, and a stone fireplace—a perfect setting for cozy evenings with a glass of wine and entertainment on the television. As night falls, the quaint gazebo beckons, complete with a fire pit that allows you to lose yourself in the mesmerizing night sky.



The expansive front porch, adorned with swings and rockers, invites travelers to bask in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. The kitchen, a highlight of the retreat, boasts top-quality appliances and elegant dinnerware, catering to culinary enthusiasts with its fully stocked array of plate ware, flatware, pots, pans, glassware, and wine glasses. Adjacent to the kitchen, an inviting BBQ and grilling area await outdoor dining and relaxation amidst the scenic surroundings.



A cherished gem of River Road Ranch is its extraordinary Chapel, a labor of love by the family, where unforgettable moments like weddings and baptisms have been celebrated, making it an ideal spot for special family gatherings. The Blanco River, meandering through the property, gifts a serene swimming hole and cascading falls, offering moments of tranquility and natural beauty.



Open grassy fields invite guests to enjoy games like croquet, bocce ball, frisbee, soccer, or football, while a majestic bronze Texas Ranger statue stands guard, paying homage to the state's protectors. When it's time to retire, the luxurious bedding in the bedrooms promises a restful slumber, allowing you to rejuvenate amidst the serene ambiance of River Road Ranch.



Guest Access:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
