My overall impression of this property is that it is a bit rundown and they need a Handyman's help for a few days and then it would be so much better. And definitely a few pieces of new furniture. At the end of the day, the bed in the downstairs room that I slept in was very comfortable and I had a good night sleep and that is why the three stars. The home is on a busy street. The home was also for sale, which is strange. There were little things like only four coffee mugs even though there should have been enough for eight people. The upstairs bedroom definitely smelled like smoke and I understand it could've been the people that just left the day we came. The couches are stained and old. Definitely in need of a Handyman as my husband cut his finger on the stairs railing, where there was a nail underneath, not in eyes view. And there were broken tiles in the bathroom floor, which could have cut someone's foot. The toilet did not flush well downstairs, the dishwasher was not held in by the screws and every time you opened the dishwasher, the racks & inside would fall forward. And the kitchen sink was slow draining. These are just some inconveniences, but it definitely had the overall smell of a mold in the house. The owner definitely tried to accommodate by bringing extra mugs the first morning (I only mentioned to her because I did not want her to think we took them) and a new blanket for our bed as we definitely did not think they cleaned between guests.
