Welcome to the Roosevelt House, our recently renovated Craftsman home is nestled in one of Bloomington's original east side neighborhoods. Only 3 blocks from the IU campus and 5 minutes to IU Health Hospital.

Even better than our location is what our home has to offer. Enjoy a three bedroom, 2 bath house, with a huge private deck, enclosed front porch, sunroom, large living and dining area and a big kitchen. All spaces designed with making wonderful memories. Private driveway.
The space
With get togethers in mind, there is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone in our oversized living room. Or, open the front door and enjoy a coffee and light hearted conversation on the enclosed front porch. Directly facing west, its also the perfect space to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the IU campus.

The quaint sunroom to the side of the living room is the perfect place to read a book or have some quiet one on one time.

The kitchen is where everyone gathers, and there is plenty of room for that here. Ample counter space makes it easy to line up the pizza boxes or set out a buffet. Or if a home cooked meal is what your student needs, the kitchen is fully stocked and well supplied.

A coffee station awaits to wake you up in the morning. Coffee, both ground and pods are provided. Along with a variety of teas and hot chocolate.

Off from the kitchen is a large dining room with an oversized round table that is perfect for meals or a zany game night.

All three bedrooms are located upstairs. The mattresses have received rave reviews for being comfortable and lots of pillows on each bed make for a good night's sleep. Each bedroom is decorated in its own unique style. It'll be hard to pick your favorite!
Guest access
Check in is easy, a key to the house is in a lockbox and a personal code will be provided before arriving. Also, important to note is how close the driveway is to the entrance. No schlepping of luggage or coolers required!

As a long time Bloomington resident, I’m very knowledgeable in things to do and places to visit. If it’s your first time to Bloomington, please let me know. I can make several recommendations.
