Stella Maris is the premier choice for an elegant family home in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock, just a block's easy walk from the town's best shopping and dining! Originally built in the 1920s, this Craftsman bungalow has been lovingly updated to offer all the best modern conveniences and luxuries.

The main level offers a flowing floor plan. There are two sitting areas; the space to your right as you walk in has a lovely gas fireplace. A few steps further is the updated kitchen offering granite counters, stainless appliances, a stainless steel apron sink, and custom cabinets. There are two dining tables, one for 6 people and one for 4, plus 4 stools at the bar.

Two King suites are on the main level, each with a beautifully updated private bathroom with a tiled shower. There's also a half bath and laundry center off the kitchen. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with two Twin beds. These two rooms share a full bath with tub/shower and double vanities. Upstairs you'll also find a small space with a desk, perfect for those who need to squeeze in a quick email or Zoom call while on vacation.

Downstairs, through a hidden door tucked away by the fireplace, is the den recreation room. This space has a vintage style microfridge and kitchenette, and is a great space to relax. Outside you'll find a lovely graveled firepit area, along with a fully fenced in yard space.

Even with bustling downtown Blowing Rock just a few hundred feet away, Stella Maris is a carefully curated peaceful haven and an inviting escape from your day to day life!

Additional notes:
- This property is pet friendly for mature, well-trained dogs only with a pet fee of $25/nt per pet. No cats.
- This property is strictly for use as a vacation rental. Events and gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited and violators will be evicted without refund.
- Parking space for max of 3 vehicles in the gravel parking area only! The paved parking area directly in front of the home does not belong to Stella Maris.
- The access road to this home is right beside Blowing Rock School, so during pickup or dropoff times, access to the home may take a few moments longer than usual.
- Due to the location, outdoor quiet times and noise levels are strictly enforced. There are restaurants and shops neighboring this lot so guests may hear this and normal town traffic noises.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
